Kowloon Taproom

Cool place with friendly service. Open to street in a cool neighbourhood. Did a ten beer flight here. All HK stuff on tap, which is sweet for a layover beer visit like I did. Lots of nice stuff on tap too. Prices high, but maybe normal for HK?

A very American style which looks like an open garage with bare bones and an industrial flare. Service was weird, tried to be helpful, but was just confusing. Flights at an OK price and tasters for the asking. Not a bad spot, although some of the larger tap lists make this look a little quaint. Almost all local beers.

A gem of a place just a couple blocks from the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR. Modern, classy interior with the AC blasting nicely. 16 all HK taps, with a focus on hops when I visited. Flights of 4 available for $140HK or 10 for $340HK; otherwise, it’s around $60 for a 12 oz, or $80 for a 16 oz. Super friendly and English-speaking staff. Loved all the local stuff here and the ability to try much of it, despite the price tag. Mandatory stop.

A small hole in the wall bar in Kowloon. A dark bar, with seating for around 20 people with a few seats outside. A great selection of beers and particularly beers from Hong Kong. A great local bar with a superb tap selection.

Small restaurant open to the street with 11 taps, local craft beer. Quite nice selection, but not in the best condition (still acceptable). Tasters are available. Worth to visit.

Best proper place to drink craft in HK and easily pulls 5 stars from me given is 100% tap devotion to local craft (Hong Kong only?). Good service and decent prices. There are 'nicer' bars in HK but not with such a line up of integrity. Will be back for absolute certain.

Small place open to all smoke of the street. Eleven Hong Kong beers on tap, another Hong Kong beers in bottles. Set of four tasters for 140$. Beware- they charge 10% of price as a tip. Shame!

Small grotty outdoor beer bar. Hard rock music. Interesting beers. Quite difficult to find. Satisfactory service. Fairly busy.

Currently sat enjoying a flight. Rock music on the speakers, only local beers on 11 taps and two pages of bottles and a cocktail menu to keep my partner entertained. No complaints from me.
