Stopped in here with my Wife, Dad, and Brother while on vacation. Its a bit outside of the city center but luckily we were also staying a bit outside and it was a fair walk from our hotel. Long room with the bar against the right wall and a dining only area deep in the back. Somewhat empty bar with only a few other patrons at 8pm on a Wed night. Warm dark wood everywhere mismatch of chairs and stools creaky wood am Irish pub! They had maybe 20 or 30 taps with more micros than I'd seen in one place on this trip and also an extensive bottle list that was at least a hundred deep. Mostly Irish but USA and other parts of Europe represented as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I seemed to not be as shocked by the bill as I'd been on previous night or maybe it was the 4 or 5 rounds who knows. This was the best beer centric stop we made in Ireland, I would go back if in Dublin again.

Looks like many other pubs in Ireland. I counted 17 taps. Some of the beers are common, but there are also some interesting w among them. No sample trays, but they will give you a taste.

Visited in the evening, not many people inside. Big place, nice interior, lots of wood. 25 taps, but several had glasses on them, so they were out. So I ask for the first beer which was supposed to be on and they're out of that one too. Barman starts pouring the second one I've ordered and keg kicks out in the middle of the pour. OK, nothing else interesting on tap so I switch to bottles/cans. I asked for the can from the menu and guess what? They were out of it. At that point it looked like I won't be able to get my beer no matter what. Luckily the they had the next beer I've ordered. Weird experience, but it didn't seem like a bad place.

One of my first Dublin stops, and conveniently two blocks from my AirBnB. The restaurant in the back was busy so I sat at the traditional bar up front which has some bar stools and bar tables in nooks and crannies. One barman guessed I was from Staten Island, holy cow, and the other chatted with me in Italian. Pretty large and varied beer list. Sadly you cannot order full meals at the bar, just apps, but what I had was tasty. Update: returned for food, restaurant was still busy so we were seated in the bar. Food was just OK, nothing to write home about, and seemed a bit pricey for what you get.

We had to wait quite long until we were served. There service could have been better. There was an unpleasent bar smell in the place. The beer selection is quite large. I like that there are beer suggestions with the food. This means they know a thing or two about beer and they like beer. A putty one of the beers of our choice wasn’t available. However, the waiter was happy to give an alternative. The service improved over time. All in all, a nice place to visit when you’re in Dublin. The food is nice to. Typical Irish pub.

After visiting The Drink Store across the street, I needed a refreshment or two. This is a nice pub in a area most tourists will look upon as rather dingy. Hardcore beer geeks will appreciate this part of Dublin. 20 taps and 5 cask ales, a great lineup of eleven Irish breweries! Some were new for me: Barrelhead Brewery, Post Card Brewing and Wicklow Wolf) About 100 bottles, and the beer and whiskey list was fastened inside an old book. Weird and cool, never seen that before. The inner section, which is a level up, is more like a dining area. Friendly service. (Visited February 17th 2016)

Nice pub somewhat distant from city center. About 20 taps and a nice bottle selection. Nice service and good prices. Did not try any food. Best selection I have found so far in Dublin. Features a number of Irish craft beers. Take a taxi and go!

Fantastic restaurant quality food, fresh & local ingredients, reasonably priced (but pricey for "pub"). Great range of beers and all of the brown paper bag project beers available bottled and often on tap too. Perhaps 15keg lines and often a few cask too. Friendly staff, range of seating options and if those arguments don’t swing it, Drinkstore is opposite which should do it!

Easily the best overall place in Dublin. The food was incredible and the beer offering had local choices that were very good. I was very impressed with their selection of whiskey. That it is within walking distance from the fabled Cobblestone trad music establishment is a big plus. Highly recommended!
