78 Déclinaison de la fine mousse, le lieu est vraiment très petit mais il y a une très belle sélection à la pression. Bar tout en longueur, ça peut paraître un peu froid mais c'est qualitatif dans les verres et les prix restent corrects pour Paris. |

78 One of the best bars we visited in Paris. 20 taps, with the majority of beers occupied by a brewery that had a tap takeover. Other taps were extremely well-chosen too, with an impie stout and BA barley wine from France. 50cl and 25cl pours available; though you can get tastes also. Small place with limited seating, and it gets busy. Very much recommended. |
94 Visited this place pretty much as they opened on a Thursday afternoon. The location is a bit on the small side, but they have made the space work well. My wife and I were the only visitors during our time there, and enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The beer on draft was all French and had a pretty nice range. 25 and 50 cl pours of any beer were offered except the high ABV stuff, which only came in 25. Awesome server was super knowledgeable of the beer he had on draft and was happy to help me choose my next beer and to talk the French and American beer scene. I can't recommend this place enough. I only wish I could have spent more time here. |
96 I was here on a Sunday night in February, 2018. I was the only person in the bar and it was right after Carnival when they had something called "Fat Beer Night"--that is, big, boozy stouts and barleywines, mostly from France. And they do small pours.
I was pretty much in heaven. Can't promise the place is always like that but this was some spectacular stuff. |
Dommage... |
90 This place is great. 16 taps of all French beer. The woman working the bar was generous with samples and suggestions. Cool music. A second bar in the basement. A must if searching for French craft beer. |
82 Belle sélection de bières craft françaises. Salle exiguë toute en longueur, avec autre salle en sous-sol. |
74 New bar in Saint Germain attempting to balance good wine with good beer. Considering most Parisian bars focus on one or the other, it's a good concept although there seems more of a focus on the beer. Around 15 taps, all French, all modern craft, with a good range of styles from barrel-aged stout to DIPA to Lichtenhainer, with a couple of bottles in the fridge. Decor is particularly modern, with blue-ish / turquoise paint work and shiny gold seating at the back with matching cushions, and interesting wood-blocks underneath the bar. I like it, but the bright, unforgiving lighting is a bit off-putting. Invest in a dimmer please! There's a downstairs bar for busy times as well, but given the pouring rain tonight that wasn't needed. Couple of ciders from Lefevre available too. A good addition to the Saint Germain bar scene and beer-wise it's the best option in the area. |
