La Yarda

We visited here Saturday 19th September 2020, our ferry from Igoumenitsa, Greece had docked earlier this morning and we cycled 16-17km into town, at this time of the day (lunchtime) this is one of the few places on RateBeer in Padova that is open. It's in the old town, albeit on the edge but certainly very close to the centre. Inside its very, very small but cute, fridges opposite the bar and a single toilet at the rear, it's dark interior festooned with all manner of things. a You have to wonder how on earth it would survive in COVID-19 times if it had no outside seating. We obviously sat outside, they have plenty of seating in the square opposite. You are encouraged to check the beer list with a QR reader on your mobile phone, the QR codes are on every table, btw this appears to be becoming commonplace here in Italy, not sure if it is a new thing or if it has been encouraged due to COVID-19 and handling menus? The beer choice was very good, I had a local beer from Arcadia and Loz a Mikkeller beer, I also had a Helles from another Italian brewery. The food was excellent, we both had pasta dishes. We really liked this place it's a great choice. Staff really swift and efficient, excellent adherence to COVID-19 rules and regulations, food great, beer choice very good.

Per bere una birra artigianale in centro padova può essere piacevole visitare la Yarda, piccolo localino con atmosfera molto suggestiva, musica reggae e ottimi cicchetti. La scelta di birre non è eccezionale, ma sono sempre presenti almeno due prodotti di Olmo.
