Fine place to grab some brewsk. Small selection, but very high quality. Whole lineup from lots of awesome NZ breweries, including local ones. Nice staff and good ’biance. A good place to grab a couple ticks while in Chchch.

Only a small selection and my fellow reviewers are totally right about the three decent breweries available. Common stuff to find around town though. Head up to Fresh Choice further along Papanui Road for a much more extensive selection of Kiwi micros.

Excellent and knowledgeable service. Limited selection of craft brews but a excellent coverage of the Emersons, Renaissance and Three Boys breweries. Average prices in a somewhat high-end atmosphere.

This place is a Lion owned bottlestore with the predominant emphasis on wine, which is done very well indeed with a loyal wineclub following and excellent product knowledge. The same ethos of product knowledge is carried though into craft beer and the selection isn’t spectacular, but isn’t bad either. Real points go toward the filling for growlers of interesting beers done mainly through Lion sourced beers. Overall an extremely well turned out bottlestore with an excellent selection of wines, good spirits and major craft beer suppliers (Three Boys, Emerson’s and Renaissance predominantly).
