60 Nothing special to be honest. Just a small bar with a handful of boring local craft beers. |
80 Lovely location a small mile from Nam Miru. Four taps. Hellstork takeover when I visited. Vintage interior. Amatue music. Enthusiastic woman running it, speaking well american english. |
84 This is and odd one, but in a good way. It's rather small place with retro hipster interior. Bar is in one corner of the room and there are only three tables inside. Was bit surprised to hear electronic music playing, but it was actually nice addition to the ambiance. There are 5 taps with stuff like Beersel Rhubarb lambic and Wild Creatures sour. Also they are doing bottle pours of Wild Creatures beers. Since they are not that visible from the main room I've almost missed three fridges in the back holding around 100 bottles. Bunch of Czech beers like Fenetra, Sibeeria, Zichovec, good selection of Wild Creatures. Also nice selection of lambic (Tilquin, one or two Cantillons, Beersel) and some US Beers (Toppling Goliath, Burley Oak, 18th street). Most importantly this was the only place in Prague where I could find a bottle of Metaphore. Service is quite good, the guy behind the bar knew is beers very well. Nice place well worth visiting. |
76 Cafe with a small seating area in front the bar, some more in a room behind it, a few seats outside towards the street, some more in a small garten as you walk though the cafe. Some second hand mix and match furniture, small bar, music from an old vinyl record player, homely feel to it. 5 beers on tap, a lager, 2 NEIPA, a sour and something i forgot, in addition 4 Oud Beersel bag in boxes including 2 new ones for me. Fridge in the second room with some nice bottles, Wild Creatures, other nice Czech ones, Cantillion, Oud Beersel, etc. Very nice and knowable service, very good english spoken and prices very fair. |
100 Small upbeat beer bar with great beer and service |
86 Nice addition to Krymska beer places, small and intimat beer cafè, with a good variety of styles on tap at our visit, handpicked quality bottle selection, also good coffee and some cookies obsereved , good service, well informed about their beers, calm music in the background.

88 Visisted with OGJ 06.01.20. A small place with a nice atmosphere. 5 craft beers on tap. On my visit two were Czech, two were English and one was Belgian. Also a good list of bottled beer. Very knowledgable English speaking service. Recommended! |
80 A gem of a place in an area where you have to be a gem to stand out, Lya is a pretty new place, drawing attention since its opening for, atypically for the region, concentrating on sour beers a lot - starting with Schneeeule, which doesn't seem to be there anymore, but sporting, for example, at this point Rodenbach Alexander on tap and bag-in-box Oud Beersel Lapsang Souchong, along with stuff like Wild Creatures and suchlike. Fairly small and a bit hipsterish, it was always too crowded when I was in the area these last months, till yesterday. Family-run, you can expect very good English and a very friendly, knowledgeable service. Pleasant, homely atmosphere boosted by good music on vinyl (they also apparently sell records I think). Four very well curated taps - you can see that it sprung from a beer tasting group too, Hostomice Fabián 12°, Cerný Potoka Hellion and Mad Scientist New York Moccacchino along with Alexander - and it's almost always something like that despite frequent rotation. Extensive (though not the biggest in-town) beer list / choice in the fridges, not excessively priced. Oh, and as it was bound to be - Žufánek spirits and fancy coffee. :D
All in all, if you're nearby, stop by, you won't regret it. |
94 Small place on Krymská in Prague with a very nice selection of craft beer, both Czech and International, great staff, and hip atmosphere. |
