Magpie Brewing Company

Basement dive bar, with another street-side bar next door. Went during an event so it was packed. Decent selection of beers, most of them well made, available in both cans and on tap for some reason. Pizza looked good. Toilet is upstairs and a bit of a pain. Had a good time.

Rustic concrete that is small and cozy. Sadly a depressing melancholy vibe with mellow music and a very quiet staff and clientele. No flights and only small pours on the base beers. Not really ticker friendly although the beer is decent. As the night wore on the service deteriorated to the point that I waited 15min for a drink as she was chatting with friends. An empty glass at the bar and waiting that long with only 3 customers is unacceptable. They sell cans to go, but they are actually more than the sit in price. Flummoxed I am.

Modern almost Scandinavian design in their bar. Lots of clean wood. Lots of taps (dozen or so) for Magpie beers. I think no flights. Two IPAs I had were excellent. Recommended when in Itaewon.

solid brewery in a craft beer heavy area of seoul. beer was well made & covered many styles. APA, IPA, stout, sour. must stop in Seoul

The vibe of this place is nice. Good music selection and not too loud. We sat at the bar and I didn’t feel overcrowded, just comfortable. Great pizzas! But a bit pricey. The beer: several taps and the quality excellent. Again not cheap for a brewery but in general very good beer. I would visit again for beer and pizza but expect to pay more than other places in Seoul.

Es gibtden kleinen Taproom oben ander Strasse und den grösseren ein Haus weiter im Keller. Ca. 8 eigenesTaps. Preise normal, aber keine Flights und nur zwei Buere auch in klein. Die HausgemachtePizza ist sehr gut. Hingehen!

Very nice location in the heart of craft beer district in Seoul. Both upstairs bar and basement bar, there's an excellent bottle shop in between. Friendly staff. Didn't try the food. Only 6 taps of their own beers so you run out of things to try pretty soon.

Only visited the upstairs part during the afternoon as we were short of the time. The beers were fantastic. The best we had in Seoul the whole trip. Interesting mix of styles. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Used to be a proper brewpub before brewery was moved to Jeju. Now it’s a pub for Magpie Brewing Co. 8 their beers were on tap at the time of my visit. All of great quality. Staff was extremely helpful and made me fantastic company for the evening.
