A beautiful and huge brewery in Maui. Visited the Taproom mainly. 25 taps, with a good cross section of what's hot and more standard fare. Good attentive service. Food is pricy but the menu looked good, with Hawaii inspired dishes. Flights available, with 4 ounces pours from 2 to 5$ each. A must in Maui.

Awesome brewpub in Kihei, probably my favorite beer stop in Maui. Very large place, ample parking. There is a separate restaurant section with high ceilings, then a bar and outdoor patio. I believe the beer is the same in both spots, but in the bar area there is a limited menu. They had live music in the outdoor patio. Very nice relaxing scene. Huge beer list, their regulars, and a ton of seasonals. They do samplers luckily, which is basically a must with so many beers to choose from. Tons of different styles from sours, ciders, IPA, imperial stout, etc. As I was sitting in the bar area, could only order from the limited menu. Their focus is pizzas though, and mine was delicious. Excellent ambiance, great beers with a wide selection, good food, can't be missed!

Way nicer then the OG location. Quieter & closer, but not on top of the big hotels. Lots of parking. Main tap room has seating in & out, open air, plus ac. Wood & open air warehouse design. Big seating area for the prissy folk. Classic chill r&b & summer old school music. 24 taps, crowler/growler station. Only 2-3 staple beers plus n/a & cider options. No saisons, sours or experimental stuff. Good descriptions of everything. Standard pub fare with a slight nod to fresh & local. Ocean & Kalo island view. Will be back.

Overall a big place, lots of money has gone into it. But the drinking space is small. You enter through the gift shop (points off) and on your right there is a serving bar - no stools, can't really linger there. There are a few tables in the bar room, then some picnic table seating on a covered patio. There are also a few bar tables in the gift shop, which would have been quieter than the 100 decibel guitar player on the patio that drowned out all conversation. They have 22 of their own beers on offer plus ten guest taps, some of which are cider and kombucha. I had the flight of six 5 ounce pours for $13 or $14, I forget, house beers only, with bigger beers off limits. The guest taps were more interesting than my flight. Servers were friendly enough. There was a food truck with OK pizza. Bottom line, a little disappointing, but you still have to com here. Maybe the tour is better.

Despite being a large facility, there isn’t really much drinking room. When you walk in, there’s a swag purchasing area dead ahead and an area for events and such (and restrooms) to the left. Head right, and you will find the bar and a small amount of indoor seating/standing spots. Connected to that is the outdoor (covered) patio area, with again a relatively small amount of seating. So it feels a bit cramped despite looking like a very large building from the outside. So despite being on a beautiful island and having a lot of money behind it, hanging out here is not quite as wonderful as I’d expected. That said, though, there are a ton of taps (near 30, all of which were MBC-brewed on my visits, though I’ve heard they do occasionally have guests on), which are almost all either Engish/American styled (pale ales and such) or German styled (even a nice altbier). Only one thing that was vaguely Belgian. And some of those brews are actually quite drinkable, even if none really reach high 3s (and certainly no 4+) excitement. I was happy to find the tap quality better than the cans, which we get here in CO and which have all been pretty disappointing. No food made on premises, but they do have rotating types of food trucks just outside (burgers one day, tacos the next, etc.). On a quiet part of Lipoa away from town, up on a hill, so it’s not walking distance from anything else. Went here many times on my recent trip, and will certainly go again when I return. Monkeypod and What Ales You are certainly worth visits, but this is undoubtedly where I would come more often, and spend the most time.

Beautiful place. Pretty good brewery tour, and a brewpub with decent prices and a great selection of rare brews in addition to the regulars.

Beautiful new brewery and tasting room recently opened in Kihei. This replaces the original old and out of date brewery formally in Lahaina. The building is beautiful inside and out. There is a patio open to the inside with views of the ocean off in the distance as the brewery is up on a hill. Also, wonderful gardens are being constructed outside. Inside the place is very spacious...including the tasting room with 32 taps...some are duplicates...but that’s ok...provides for quicker service. There is often a food truck outside. I was able to try 17 different beers during my recent visit...including a number of specialty beers like Imperial Coconut Porter...aged in rum barrels (12.3%)...and the absolutely fantastic Lorenzini Tangerine & Blood Orange IIPA which was also available in cans (flew 2 home with me!). This place is definitely a "flagship" for Maui Brewing and should take them to a whole ’nother level...a must visit for any craft beer fans traveling to Hawaii.
