I agree with Illinismitty, do not come here for beer. The food was nothing to brag about either.

Beer aficionados, look elsewhere (Mellow Mushroon is close by) If want a cozy but crowded Irish influenced pub, then this is your place. Expect to find the usual UK and US macros. There dozens of Irish bars in Nashville and probably hundreds of bars that serve Guinness- so I see no reason for this place to even be listed. And of the 3 times I have been to Ireland and the dozens of pubs I visited- not one put a Shamrock on the head. So I would guess that it’s not a true authentic pour (for those that care)

Stopped by on a night out with the wife. I’ve never been to Ireland, but I’d imagine this place must be what a REAL irish pub is like. Not a ’commercial’ example of what an irish pub is. Sparse walls, lots of religious iconography, small and cramped. I personally like the commercialized pub idea better. The staff was somewhat friendly, but rather slow. I guess for the area, this place had a decent selection of beers, but by no means was it impressive. The food looked great though I didn’t have anything other than a pint (20 ounces at this place!) of Guinness. The coolest thing about this place, the head of your beer has an imprint of a shamrock. Certainly wouldn’t go out of the way, but if you’re already in the area, it might be worth a stop.

Fun place to go - selection is not huge, but the place is small, so it seems fitting. Food is great and the service is prompt and friendly. Drawbacks - its a pub...but you can’t smoke. Its a pub, where’s the constantly soccer tv channel? That aside, lots of fun, and its in a scenic location. Close to a movie theatre and Mellow Mushroom, and close to perfect.

This is my favorite place to go that is near home. They have excellent pub style food and an atmosphere to match. One of the few places that know how to properly pour a pint of Guinness. Can get crowded at times, but it’s rarely very hard to get a table.
