84 Odd that a Vietnamese restaurant has such an incredible selection of beer. The ambiance is interesting and they have an outdoor patio outback with lots of parking. They have ~50 taps. Uber over and visit both Mekong and their neighbor. |
80 Great restaurant - what's better than Vietnamese food with great beer? Lots of bottles and tons of stuff on the menu like most Southeast Asian places. Loaded up on food here before hitting up the Answer next door. Highly recommended. |
74 Crazy amount of taps for a Vietnamese restaurant. Food is delicious though! |
88 Food is excellent and the reason you go here. Beer selection is plentiful but not a lot of great options. You are better off at the Answer next door. |
64 An unnecessary stop with the Answer next door. 50 draft beers but most of them are common stuff. A few Answer beers, but just go next door. Looks run down. Food smelled good, but unless you want more traditional Thai food, I don't see a reason to come here. |
86 I’m still not totally familiar with the location of this place, but I finally made it there for my bachelors party. Busy on a Friday night, but still enough space to easily get 6 people seated immediately at around 8pm. Food was really tasty, selection of beers was nice, not totally mind blowing, but probably one of the best "restaurant" locations I have ever been to, certainly the best Vietnamese restaurant beer list I’ve ever seen. Staff was really friendly. |
68 Located hell out of the centre of Richmond (take the westward bound bus no. 19 there), the venue is a very popular Oriental restaurant woth a great selection of American, mostly local beers. The staff are busy and not very service-minded but polite enough. The selection is quite impressive, given the location. Fair prices. A nice place for dinner out of town, otherwise not worth your bother unless you really have to gather your RVA ticks here. |
84 Odd to find a pretty awesome set of taps in an otherwise pretty average looking Vietnamese joint. Food was above average and service was efficient. With so many great things on tap, it’s a shame they only serve full pours. |
80 Some parking in the front and quite a bit in the back (which was not obvious to me to begin with). My food was very good and well worth the price. Good draft list and pretty good bottle list. Beer was priced reasonably. Really good fast service and reasonable prices. They didn’t seem to have anything smaller than a full pint. I can see why people like this place especially consider the food. |
90 Bit weird to have a world class beer bar in a stripmall Vietnamese restaurant, but I’ll take it. Only downside is lack of tasters, which means many ounces of great beer are requisite. Love this place. |
