86 There is a quite large tasting room in this warehouse setting. You have to take a walkway over the brewhouse to get to the bar, reminding everyone this is a functioning brewery. The beer is pretty solid, representing classic styles as well as a few trendier options. |
70 This was another segment of a recent North Park crawl. Located a few blocks east of 30th Street (No. 2 bus), this location offers a friendly vibe in an open room. There is a small bar where you order the brews - I chose several tasters, which include a free glass. Excellent beer, decent service and a comfortable atmosphere. But don't linger, since there are many other places to visit, including North Park Brewing, which is around the corner.

66 Other than walking in over a plank allowing you to look at the brewery below, this place disappointed me. The service is crap and you have to wait in a long line for beers as there is no table service. Table service is so anti-hipster... They had about 8 house beers, and nothing out of the ordinary. Any food you find here is via food truck. Be warned, kids are allowed here too. |
78 Walking over a catwalk with the brewery underneath gets you into the taproom-unusual. Pretty big place, but was very crowded at our visit a wednesday evening, some kind of dog rafle going on, so kids, dogs, crowds everywhere. Some 15 tap's on, bottles and can to go in a cooler next to the bar. Had a flight of 5, kindof expensive at 16$, but included a free glass (marmalade jar) wich coudnt be turned into a beer :( Wife gave it to somebody next to her in the line, he looked happy. Beers where pretty good. No food, but bartenders will order for you. Service was good, even thought they where stressed out by the very big crowd. Different and worth a visit. |
84 Cool bar area over top the brewhouse and cellar areas, with lots of seating around fixed tables, which I kind of like so no one can move them and create flow issues. Bartenders were smart and quick, had some secret beers on tap not on the list if you ask. Hop forward like most of San Diego, but cool other stuff too. Very cool spot. |
80 A cool sterile space where you walk above the brewery to get to the taproom. Bartender was friendly and happy to talk about the beer. They had around 15 taps with samplers available. No food on site. Prices were inline with the area. A decent spot overall. |
76 Visited during lunch at the Super Bowl Sunday in February 2017. The place was quite big and almost empty. The service was polite and fast. I ordered a flight and thought that the beers were ok. Located close to 30th Street. |
80 You enter this tasting room on a walkway suspended above the brewing room- a great way to get in the mood for beers in a brewery. Loads of their beers on tap. The flight had, I think, six beers as well as a free pint glass, which was cool. Lots of good beer in their lineup. Maybe not the worlds best, but very solid options from top to bottom. The barkeepers were friendly and quick. A very modern, polished feel overall. Not a cozy comfortable place, but a good space for large groups and really taking a few down. big TVs showing the games. A nice option especially with larger groups. |
78 Quite crowded on a Thursday evening. Nice entrance with a long aisle leading you to the bar. Good beers, good atmosphere. Service was really nice as well. Worth a visit. |
70 A large garage-style brewpub located in an alley near 30th Street. Loud and noisy even though it was not that crowded. Samplers were quite expensive, but they included a glass. Beers were okay, but the selection was quite small. |
