Mikkeller Baghaven

Visit many times.

At være på Refshaleøen en sommerdag med 22 grader sol og let vind er helt fantastisk. At have boykottet Mikkeller næsten siden han flyttede til De Proeuf er en anden ting. Men så komme ud til Baghaven og få en ægte mikrobryg vibe, både fra stedet men også fra bartenderen. Rigtig gode øl. Jamen jeg kunne forestille mig at besøge stedet igen. Virkelig et godt sted.

Awesome spot. World class beers. Wide selection. 20 taps and several bottles. A view to the water and a glass of Baghaven is really something. Top spot in Copenhagen.

Bus 2A will bring you in walking distance of the place which is quite big and nice because of the many wooden tables and benches outside. At my visit they did not have bottled beers, I asked for theme and was told so, therefore I am a bit surprised that others have managed to get some. I did, however, not miss bottled beers as the selection of beers on draught was satisfactory. Of course dominated by beers from Mikkeller and also a good deal of them sours. Friendly and quick service. Prices in the high end as I had expected.

It's a bit of a trek out here, but the 2A bus will get you close. It's a rather baren, industrial area with little development as of now. Mikkeller's place is fairly small, but was relatively empty on a Saturday evening. They had 5 Baghaven beers on tap; they will do flights of 3 x 10cl pours for 100DKK (not a bad deal considering what they are), but don't advertise it. There are another ~15 beers on tap from Mikkeller and guests, available in the standard two sizes at usual prices. Friendly but somewhat bumbling service. Not sure it's worth the time and effort to come out this far, especially since the Baghaven beers tend to be available at Mikkeller Bean Geeks; but it's a fun spot.

Visited December 2019.. Taking the 2A bus til the end station and then a short walk. Just by the waterfront. Super friendly staff and beers served in good condition. Nice mix of beers on tap and cans / bottles. Great atmosphere sitting next to all the barrels.. I will be back.. soon.

Visited for the first time on an early Saturday in July 2019. We did a long walk to this place from the city center, around 70 minutes. The place is located in an old industrial building with high ceilings. The service was friendly and the place was not crowded during the visit. Both indoor and outdoor seating. I liked the six beers from Mikkeller Baghaven beers that were available on tap. Would not mind to visit this place again.

Outstanding atmosphere of a real tap room located in the ageing place itself. Tasty fresh wild ales and sours. Some guest spots also. Far from city center but in neighborhood of Reffen ( probably the greatest food truck park on Earth). View on the see...
