Snake River Zonker Stout | 6% | 7/5/2021 |
74 Patty and I stopped in for a quick one while in Jackson. This is a tourist stop worth visiting in Jackson. The square outside is featured in several Westerns, and the saddle bar seats are quite comfortable. Can of Snake River Stout was only $5.75 No kids allowed in here. That was a good thing. |
50 Odd but fun place. Open late. No food after 10 sucks. Sometimes a 5 dollar cover, lots of country music. I enjoyed the rowdy atmosphere. Not too crazy but energetic. No great beer scene. Had some Melvin. |
46 I went to this bar a few times before moving to Jackson Hole and before rating beers. Even back then I was a bit turned off by the kitsch, and there were better bars available (including the Silver Dollar Bar at the Wort if an authentic Western bar is what you crave). With the growth in tourism, this place can pack them in. But for craft beer, veer a little to the right and sit at the sleek bar at Local Restaurant and Bar and choose from a rotating list of craft beers (mostly local breweries). Sure there will be some tourists there too, but not like the Cowboy. |
64 Not a place to go as a craft beer destination, but certainly a unique place worth a visit if you’re in town. Ambiance is just is the right amount of being over-the-top with very unique knobbled pine throughout. Handful of Snake River cans available, but the prices are pretty steep. Very low key during the day, but the place comes alive at night. |

66 This is a tourist stop worth visiting in Jackson. The square outside is featured in several Westerns, and the saddle bar seats are quite comfortable. Get your Million Dollar Cowboy Bar Beer to go in a wooden crate. Other than a micro or two, this place is straight tourist(y). This is not a craft beer stop. |
56 Had a Coors here back in the day, when you couldn’t buy it east of the Mississippi. Yeah, it’s a tourist trap, but still worth a look if you are in Jackson. |
46 cool place was there on a Saturday night with a few couples in the group trip there was a great band that country music playing and lots of people dancing so it was more like a dance than a place to engage with beers but it was nice to get there |
34 Bizarre place. People watching was fun, beer selection not fun. I wouldn’t go back again. |
30 tourist trap, but cool looking building. full of drankards late at night. grand teton ’golden ale’ - most likely re-branded something or other. |
