Located in a massive warehouse (once storing Wonder Bread) in the East Village district, Mission is a wonderful place to quaff some great crafts. Step up to the huge and well-worn bar and try 20 taps. You can get a full pint, a half-pint or a taster of a wide variety of styles: light or dark, hoppy or malty, low abv or high. Great selection that satisfies all. You can check out the brewing tanks on your way to the bathroom. I would definitely call Mission Brewery, a MUST visit. I enjoyed the following: Mission IPA, Citra Session, Shipwrecked IPA (and a Grapefruit Shipwrecked), a yummy porter and their Dark Seas RIS. Your mission, if you choose to accept it......

Big bar in a big ol’ building. No parking. Quite a few taps. My server was over the top on suggestions and analysis. Assumed I was a beer novice. Well, that’s good odds when a stranger walks in. Had some good conversation. Got a taste of the latest keg. Good times.

Huge place next to the ballpark, old industrial building, brick walls, wooden roof, big bar to the right, brewery to the left, brewing at our visit. 20 tap's, a nitro and cask option. Flight of 4 avaible for 8$. Fast and friendly bartender. Quality of beers fairly good, not outstanding. Slow as we entered, server told me there was a soccer game on and minuttes later the place was crowded with soccer fans, very loud. Fair prices.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon in February 2018. I liked the large and airy building with the long bar and all the brewery equipment. The beers were decent, flights available. Located not far from Gaslamp in an industrial part of town. Would not mind to vist again.

Oh so old school. Big warehouse, you are right in the thick of things in the brewery and there are a ton of beers with cheap tasters. Only problem isn't too well done. Great for ticks, but move on if you want tastier beer.

Roomy interior has an industrial feel that I like in microbrewery tasting rooms. Servers make you feel welcome and make sure you stay well-hydrated. Their beers are outstanding, so if you are just passing through, try a sampler - then take some bottles home. If you love good beer and live in or near San Diego, you will want to visit again and again.

Great staff that really know their beer, relaxing and spacious tasting room. A bit noisy because of the brewing equipment and a bit of a bleach odor. Great selection of some very interesting beers.

Large open building with tons of old school brick walls. The brewery is separated from the bar area by a short wall. When I was there mid-day they were actively working. It was enjoyable watching them create their brews. The space can be loud but it wasn’t overly so when I was there. Loads of their beers on tap with a few craft cocktails too. Quick service. Food is brought to you by different trucks depending on the day. Good place for a few pints.

Fun environment, location is really cool for being a full brewery. They offer tours of the brewery which are great. For being such a large bar and brewery is awesome that they are so centrally located. They have games and such to enjoy along with the awesome beer. Location is large (warehouse like) and somewhere you have to visit while in SD. Their shirts and stuff are also very cool and make great gifts. Their beer is fresh and bartenders are helpful and attentive.
