82 Not to be confused with the Point Loma brewery, the North Park Flavordome is a storefront operation that has a hipster vibe; it is of moderate size, there is some upholstered furniture, some communal tables outside, a number of tables and high tops with a rather small L-shaped bar, where you can slake your thirst with 20 taps of MT goodness. They offer three serving sizes and several tasty IPAs. Let me be honest, I really love this brewery. They serve no food, but there is a burger place next door. Look up and check out the lamp shades hanging from the ceiling. Why? Don't know.
You can take the No. 2 bus from downtown should you decide on a North Park pub crawl. |

78 Located in a much more residential neighbourhood than the Fermentorium, which means it's easier to park, this is a much more intimate and condensed MT experience. Good taplist, but not as many taps as the other location, so you won't find many BA options here. A bunch of long, short tables, as per usual, with the signature MT atmosphere. Worth a stop if you're up this way. |

84 The address is misleading as it is around the corner from the street listed, but once you find it its pretty awesome. The typical modern times, oddly kitsch design with a bunch of fun art and urban chic. Service was good, friendly and knew the beer very well, quick to get them too. Selection was good, new school IPAs, big adjunct heavy stouts, and fruited sours, so all the fun new school stuff hype boys go crazy about. A good addition to North Park and worth your time if you're in the area. |
76 Overall a decent spot but was disappointed based on other MT locations. If you're in the immediate area, it's worth visiting. |
82 A little smaller than Lomaland, but plenty of seating. The tap list is smaller too, which is why I hadn't already been here multiple times. It's friggin solid, though. Parking, as with the other SD location, can be a pain. I parked off the main drag (30th St) on the south end and walked a few blocks. Friendly knowledgeable service, flights (though small pours are pricey) and the beer is great. No food, but there's food everywhere in North Park. |
74 This location couldn't be any more different than the other. Small with a nice little patio. Decent tap list but not as much as the main location. Beans only to go. Staff was nice but just bar service again. |
78 A shadow of the brewery but still fun enough. Small dog friendly outside area, long serving bar and some bar tables. Varied selection though not as extensive as the brewery. Knowledgeable helpful server. No food but the ramen place next door is OK. Worth a stop while in North Park. |
