Mustard Seed Market - Highland Square

(Visited 06/2015): The Highland Square Mustard Seed location is on West Market and Portage Path west of downtown. The store has a dedicated parking lot in the rear.

The store is clean and well-lit, with the beer being located on shelves in the rear. There is also a cafeteria upstairs that features a bar and a few beers on tap.

Bottled selections include many from Akron and Ohio like Thirsty Dog, Hoppin’ Frog, Great Lakes and Brew Kettle. In addition there are many domestic craft breweries like Rogue, Stone, Founders and Sierra Nevada, as well as some imports. The bar upstairs has 6 taps and on my visit included a local brewer R. Shea.

Service both at checkout and at the bar was friendly.

I did not have any food on my visit.

Overall this is a nice neighborhood store with a pretty good beer selection.
