68 A pleasant craft beer bar with lots of bar seating. Pleasant owner but little English and he kept trying to converse which was frustrating at times. Decent local tap list and flights and small pours. Pricey though |
68 On the east side of town, this is a pretty cool, modern but intimate and classy taproom with a very Asian feel. 13 beers on tap, though 3 were sold out when I visited. Flights of 3 available for 360 NTD, quite the ripoff, but that’s Taipei. Taplist was all local stuff, which was nice, but most of it was pretty forgettable stuff - none of the more ambitious local beers to be found. Super-friendly guy behind the bar, who speaks beginner English, so have patience - he is very kind. Worth a visit. |
70 Worth stopping at when in Taipei. Modern decor, clean, except for the cockroach crawling around. Fairly decent selection of beers; 15 were available when I was there (one tap was finished and the rest was cider).
Staff speaks English, but aren’t very attentive, and often just play on their phone. Didn’t try the food, but it’s a very limited snack menu. About half the beers were labeled on the board so you knew which brewery it’s from, the other half were written only in Chinese. Mix of taps, mostly from Taiwan, but a couple from US and UK. |
80 Cosy, nicely decked out place with friendly, knowledgeable service. The owner and staff are more than happy to let patrons taste the range of beers, which have a good selection of local Taiwanese brews. |
88 Cool place with lots of good beer choices. Already followed them on Facebook for the interesting activities they hold in the bar. |
