70 It’s impossible to overstate how cool this location is for a brewery. Tucked all the way down on the water, actually out on the dock, with commanding views all the way around from the bridges, over the mountains, and away down the Sound. There’s nothing like it in the brewery world around Puget Sound, as far as I know. (In Bellingham, Chuckanut comes close, but it doesn’t look at scenery that’s quite this dramatic).
The space itself is kinda chopped up; you zigzag through this room and that room to get to the bar. Everything’s nice--nice clean hardwood floors, everything’s well taken care of, bathrooms are more than presentable (though not fancy at all). The staff are super friendly and nice for sure, and the prices are more than fair. I’ve been hoping for the last few years that they’ll bump up the quality of the beer, and they’re getting more adventurous with the stuff they brew. Their beers are easy enough to drink, and the setting certainly makes it possible to thoroughly enjoy anything they put in front of you. And I know they have guys on the brew deck now who are more than capable. Right now, the beers still don’t have the clarity and personality that they’re capable of, but hopefully they’ll be able to sort that out with some new releases and whatnot soon. I will definitely be back to tip a few pints here. What a spectacular setting. |
56 Not the best beers I had. Great view though |
86 A good place to come and have a beer and look over the water. The only bad thing is that you can’t have a beer on the patio. Beer is very good |
86 Super place great beers and the view of the Narrow’s bridge is totally awesome. Love this place. I know I will be back and can’t wait to see this place grow. |
