Visited during Covid19 restrictions. Entry with no problems, table service, manual registration. This place has a worn in feel to it along with having a younger vibe. As you enter there is a very fancy bar to the right, high benches for drinking and beer boards giving up to date information. The music is a tad loud but a decent mix. The beer range is interesting, all keg, mostly London centric. Not sure it would be a regular haunt but worth a look.

This bar has a nice feel to it, like somw of my favourite US bars. The choice on tap isn't massive but there's some stuff of interest: Wiper and True, Partizan, and some rarer Beavertowns. It's not perfect: the music is too loud, and I got a half when I asked for a pint (as did the next guy that was served). Still, it's pleasant, quieter than the average Clerkenwell pub, and the beer is enough of an attraction to stay for a while.

No cask but a decent choice of kegs. US style food looked and smelt calorific!

Visited on 22nd June 2016. Situated a few minutes from Farringdon station and pretty close to the Craft Beer Co this is handily placed for a thirsty ratebeerian. It’s a large, dark venue, it has a little room at the back but the main room and bar is where the action is. Boards opposite the bar have the beer info. It has high tables and stools around the bar for seating so not overly comfy but is well decorated. The staff were friendly and happy to field questions. The venue has an aspiration to open a second site with a brewery and supply both venues. Beer range was decent with a good mix of local and beers from further afield. Quality good and a decent bottle list. It was empty when I visted. Worth a look in.

To the north of Farringdon Station on the western side of the tracks, a 100 metres before you reach Shepherd Neam’s Betsey Trotwood pub. There’s several levels to the bar, which has a very dark wooden design in its fixtures, fittings and furniture, and it works very well with the building and its exposed brickwork. The result is something that could double as a Latino cocktail bar in appearance, only the tropical climate is missing. The main ground floor area includes a bar with several rows of keg ales backed up by a bottle selection. The draught choices are currently advertised on a couple of blackboards hanging down from the two main pillars in the centre of the room and had a good mix of some well known and lesser known craft keg ales, none of their own ales yet when I visited. I was the only person in the place at 10pm at night, but the guys there put this down to the EURO’s taking place, which they weren’t showing, and as BrewDog up the road had also closed it’s very probable this is the case given it’s a worthy place to frequent.
