84 Dropped by on Sunday at 7PM (they close at 8 PM) after going to Disneyland with my family. Completely dead. Parking lot is empty, and I am the only one there, chatting up the bartender. Super nice. 16 beers on tap. $2-3 for 4-5 oz pours. All of good quality. Easy parking in warehouse district. Highly recommended. |

70 Not much to look at, and the server was brusk with not much of an opinion on what to order, "my pallet could be different than yours." Grow a pair and make a recommendation, you’ve had the beer. Despite those, the beers are really solid, as I enjoyed all 5 hoppy offerings I had. Their hazy’s are on point. I’d be come back, fair prices and so close to other stars its a must visit. |
80 Tasting room is fairly small, but staff is fast and friendly. Plenty of variety. Food truck was outside. I think the beer makes this a more enjoyable space. Needs more room. |
84 Visited on a weekday night seemingly just before (or after) a Mighty Ducks game. Do they still call themselves the Mighty Ducks? Anyway...another industrial park, but at least this one had plenty of parking spaces inside. There was a line of folks in hockey jerseys out the front door, yet service was very fast and extremely friendly. I got my flight within 10 minutes of getting there despite the line. I was impressed. It was hard to get a good look around since there was so many people, but there seemed to be a good amount of space in the two rooms with a mixture of small and larger tables. A few seats at the bar, but they were limited. Everyone seemed to having a great time, including the staff. Very solid vibe. I normally don’t like crowds, but for some reason I enjoyed my time here even without socializing with anyone in particular, so that’s saying something IMO. The beers were all mostly above average with some of the hoppy beers being very tasty. The only stinker was the fruit beer they had on tap from their anniversary. These guys are legit and obviously know what they’re doing. Overall, a pretty awesome tasting room as brewery tasting rooms go. Very good beers as well. I’ll for sure go back whenever I’m in the area. |
74 A warehouse atmosphere with lots of space. No wifi. Decent tasting flight with reasonable prices. Bar service only and friendly but with a crowd it can be a bit of a wait. Hoppy beers are pretty good, others not so great. Solid place with lots of ticks. |
82 Stop #2 - I was looking forward to this one based on my enjoyment of the Showers series. Kind of a warehousey area, street parking free and available. Roll up door as well as a "normal" entrance to the taproom proper. Bar to the left, seating, bathrooms to the right. Brewing equipment on full glorious display with just a rail separating it from the customer space. They were brewing while I was there (5PM Monday), which was fun to watch. Only one restroom, unisex, single person, so be prepared to wait a bit if its busy. It was a bit busy for a Monday, I am guessing mostly due to the Championship game, which was displayed on a huge front projection TV screen. They have a food truck schedule; tacos when I was there. Service is solid and efficient. At the bar the are running about 16 taps, all Noble beers. Tasters can be purchased individually, or a flight of 5 - you choose - for the sum of the individual prices. The only bottle to go they had was Big Whig. They seem to be fairly experimental in the tap room; I had to add three of the five beers I tried to the DB. Beers were frankly a surprise. I am a huge fan of Noble’s hoppy stuff in general, but the triple IPA they had on was an unmitigated disaster. The Kettle sours were pretty meh as well. Definitely hit the Shower beers, and Naughty Sauce is an elixir of the gods of you are a coffee fan, but be prepared for a wild ride if you deviate widely from those. |
80 Warehouse style roll top garage door with huge white wall above tap area with Angels game on:) 10 and 20bbl ferms open area with barrels for tables. Food truck in parking lot, game related. Tap room was cool vibe with 20 taps maybe with guest bottles for sale. The brews are all solid above average, ipas where good. I would visit again:) |
88 Visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. I sat on the floor and some really cool biker guys invited me up to their table and gave me a chair - beer geeks too. Beer was very good to great. Lots of samplers - and fairly cheap. A bit of a small tasting area, but it was worth it. Well worth a visit. |
