Pretty cool place, large open room with a wood stove, long bar. Back around a few corners is the smaller "theater" bar and the theater. I did enjoy my food and beers as much as I did at the other McMemnamins locals I have been. I have to inquire about the hotel as I have to potentially come to Centrailia at minimum on a near yearly basis.

Made a point of stopping (and staying) at this place during a recent road trip. Like many McMenamins pubs, they have the ambiance down pat. Beautifully restored old brothel/hotel (or Gentleman’s Club in the old-timey vernacular) on a main drag in Centralia. The pub is all old wood and polished brass with a lot of character. There is an attached movie theatre that shows films (free admission with hotel stay) and allows you to bring beer in from the pub to enjoy while watching the film. The rooms upstairs are also very quaint with quotes from some of the characters from Centralia’s history painted on the walls. Lots of cool folk art in the hotel side as well. I liked that they’d give you a quart growler pour to take up to your room while you were staying there as well. Had breakfast in the pub the following day which was also delicious. Awesome spot actually - they do everything right. The beer is typical McMenamins, but if you’re in the area you need to drink here.

What a nice place to stop at in Centralia. Did not think you would find this here but it was great. The atmosphere a typical McMenamins which I love. The beer was great and plenty the food as usual was awesome. Had a very nice time the pool tables I could see are an asset at busy times and the music was awesome also. Good old hard Rock and Roll. This would be a fun place for a nice party. The bar was filled and the liquor to choose from was also plenty. I want to try there own stuff but that will be next time. Across the street are about 10 antique stores so guys bring the wives give them the credit card and you can drink your worries away. Great place!!!

Great potential but they do not make good use of it. No IPA available yesterday, waitress forgot to place our food order, she was cool about it but it dampened my opinion of the place. I am begining to think that McMenamin’s has stretched themselves a little too far. Just because you can do 4 or 5 places well doesn’t mean you can handle 50.
