Patan Ale House

Was disappointed on my visit. It was a good-sized place, service just OK. Over 20 taps, but most of the ones I had (a total of 12) were off - sour, funky. So dirty draught lines, slow turnover, or whatever, it made for a fairly lousy experience.

What a wonderful bar... 24 taps of goodness, some interesting and rare imports, great and friendly people, great music, decent prices. 4 Mexican beer Sampler for 99 pesos. Pub grub available. Such a great place.

Located in a quiet street a little outside the center of Chapultepec this bar was my favorite beer place in Guadalajara. The interior is a little rustic with concrete floors but the staff was very attentive. Compared to many other bars around I got the feeling that this place exists because they care about beer and not because they can sell craft beer. Very interesting selection of 24 Mexicans brews from tap - flights available. Food is available and was decent. Recommended!
