76 Unique place just a few minutes away from SanTan. The place has a bird sanctuary of some sort as you walk in, which gives the place a tropical zoo type of smell - odd. Nicely set-up and fairly small interior. Tons of beers on tap, including many house and guest taps. Flights of 5 are available but are charged by the individual beer, which can get expensive: between $2-4 for a 5 oz; and for the stronger styles, at $4 per 5 oz pour, that is highway robbery for a house beer. Anyway, the beer itself is very good quality, amongst the best in Greater Phoenix. Service was very friendly and quick. Worth a stop when in town, and not too far from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport if you’re flying in / out from there. |
76 This is basically a giant garden with birds that also happens to serve beer and food. Large outdoor bar. Good service. Decent beers. Very tasty food in large portions. Worthwhile stop. |
70 As others have said, this place is very unique. There are birds in cages everywhere. The patio is full of plants creating a very tropical vibe. The rooftop deck is really cool, with a much more modern and traditional brewpub vibe. Almost like two different places. While we are on the subject, there are plans to expand - with a Chicago theme - which further confuses the bird theme. Anyway, the food was really good, service ok and the beers were somewhat hit or miss, but generally above average. Good guest taps as well. Pretty solid. |
70 Made a very quick stop here after picking up a brand new puppy. They let us have her out on the patio, which is surrounded by a very big and noisy bird cage. The staff was friendly and the couple beers we tried were quite nice. Then it started pouring, and we couldn’t go inside the open-air bar area with the pup, so we huddled under a tiny umbrella to finish our beers. The birds aren’t exactly a draw for me, but otherwise I’d give them a general thumbs up. Brewery #719. |
78 A really unique place since they have bird cages outside with many kinds of birds. They also have a rooftop bar. Plenty of shaded tables downstairs and at the main bar. The service was very quick and friendly. A nice amount of their own tasty beers on tap and good guest beers at very good prices, even better during happy hour. You can get a 5oz pour or a full pour of every beer. Very nice place to stop at in Chandler. |
78 Interesting little brewpub with exotic birds and such. They had 8 of their own beers and a nice selection of guest taps as well. Tasters available on all draft pours, which was my main draw. Cool spot, walked here from SanTan. |
82 Cool spot. Tons of trees, birds, seating in many different spots. I enjoyed the beer and got great service. Ask for Justin when you go. He’s too notch. |
66 The place has potential, nice rooftop patio and the birds give it a unique feel. However the service, beer and food all need work. They’ve been open for a few months now so you would have thought they would have their act together but not yet. Maybe another change in management is needed, the first manager lasted two weeks before they fired him, they probably should have kept him because then the people working there might have an inkling of a clue. |
70 Cool and interesting venue. Nice rooftop patio and a steadily improving staff. Nice tap list and some pretty good food. Just tapped their first in-house brewed beers and off to a fairly good start. A couple of nits- the birds can be annoying, not enough bathrooms. Overall, it is a good place and steadily improving in all areas. |
78 Interesting an unique concept with the birds and bird cages and everything. Great outdoor seating area that sort of mimics being in the woods along with a great rooftop bar area as well. Food was above average. Tap lists are now available and it was decent. Some local, some regional, some import, some random one-off type stuff. Enough to keep me busy for a visit. |
