80 Small brewery, large in hospitality. With some very good beer too I might add. Atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Restrooms were clean and well lit. We got to take a tour of the brewery, talk to the brew master, and even spent some time talking with a really nice guy who turned out to be the CFO!! Cool place to come enjoy a beer. Where in the world is Max Silver? A one time employee devoted to finding Heady Topper, super beer aficionado, and all around cool dude. If you have the answer to this question please contact me. |
74 This was the first brewery I visited on my Greensboro tour. It’s named after a beer that used to be brewed for Darryl’s Wood Fired Grill. Inside reminds me of a modern diner, and there’s a really nice wrap around deck as well. Nine of their beers and four guests, all from NC, flights of four available. Beers were pretty solid. Brewery visible on one of the flat screen monitors. No food, not even bacon. Worth the short trip from downtown. |
64 This is a local brewery. If you are looking for unique, ignore the score. They had a few outside brews and many of there own which was worth the trip. Food comes from a vending truck. |
78 Really cool new brewery in the Battleground district of Greensboro. Initial beer lineup was solid, leaning on English roots, with their brown ale being a standout. Small but comfortable tasting room/bar area. Excellent guest taps rounding out the selection. Was there opening weekend and service was great. Every person working took the time to talk with my group. Affiliated with several new (and existing: Daryl’s) restaurants in the area via the same owners. |
