94 Small cozy place with a few taps of both local and international beers. Great ambiance and friendly stuff. Great food too. Loved this place, highly recommended |
80 Pequeno, apertado, caro e com poucas opções de comidas como quase todo bar japonês. Mas a ótima seleção de cervejas locais e o atendimento especial dos donos vale a viagem até o local. |
74 A tiny shoebox of a place the size of a US walk-in closet all done up in red with European movie posters on the wall. Friendly staff and friendlier customers who said I looked cool like a movie star which made me feel special. Quite busy with people popping in & leaving continuously over the hour or so I was there. Tap list on my visit wasn’t so I the resting but I hear they often get cool European stuff. They’ve also added to go bottles but drink in is double price like at CBB. Really nice place I’d visit more often if it was more central or there was a cluster of interesting things to do in the neighborhood. |
70 Very small cozy, place that is primarily standing only. Interesting decorations hanging from the ceiling. Six taps that were random, but overall well chosen and a bit unique. The smattering of bottle selection is heavily European with some interesting stuff. Prices were a bit high. I heard the food was good. Friendly good vibe with husband wife owner, and the wife speaks English. Down side is I found the place cramped, and I don’t mind small spaces. But the night I was there, there was a awful smell coming from the toilet. I assume this isn’t a regular thing, but nonetheless not pleasant for me as a random customer visiting for the first time. |
78 Very cool tiny local bar with a laid-back bohemian vibe. Short but interesting tap selection including some unusual EU imports, which explains prices may be a bit higher than usual. Solid bottle selection of fresh imports for takeout, ok prices. Tasty danish dog available for snacking. Owners seem to be Mikkeller fans, service is very friendly.Great local hangout, maybe could improve aeration a bit during summertime. |
82 Small little bar run by lovely people in Sangenjaya with 6 taps. Service was really nice and the staff really wanted to talk. English is definitely spoken as well. They were very helpful and friendly. Beers were well conditioned and prices were a tad expensive, but fair considering that most of the European beers you don’t typically see around Tokyo. The don’t have much food, but the Danish hotdog was fairly priced and went well with my tilquin draft gueuze. Non-smoking which is a big plus. I will definitely be back. The bottle shop is inside and they had around 20 bottles for take-out. Prices also seemed fair, with some bottles possibly being Pigalle exclusives. The bear features European beers heavily leaning towards Belgium. |
72 Nice place with friendly and welcoming staff who want to talk about beer. Some Japanese stuff on tap when I went along with European beers. They have now started a bottle shop so you can take bottles away (cheaper than drinking on site, naturally). Good selection of European bottles. Prices are not cheap, but this stuff seems to be expensive in most places. Really liked it. Will go back. |
70 Very small, friendly pub near Sangenjaya station, lots of potted herbs and flowers out front. 5-6 taps were all European, a good mix of countries and styles. Had 3-4 bottles that day too, including a nice English cider. Friendly atmosphere, some English spoken, seemed like mostly dedicated people from the neighborhood. Interesting beers. Prices a bit above average for the area. Cool place. |
