Pipiolo

Visited 19/12/2018. Shop is now called Liquidos.cl and has only a small beer selection as wine (also spirits) is main focus and it’s not a big shop. Good service. Probably not worth an entry here but as it was already listed and was close by thought I’d pop in.

Went based on rating and proximity to hotel. Really hopping for special local Kross or something. Couple Belgian (chofe, duvel) and French beers. One Kross-the pale ale. Bit disappointing but probably good brew selection for Santiago. Small packed and clean with very friendly staff but not much wine or beer knowledge. Nice but small selection of wines, gourmet foods, and high end spirits. Staff wrapped the wine I got very nicely for the trip home. Don’t make a cross town trip but worth a stop if nearby.

This is a small "delicatessen" store in Providencia near Tobalaba Metro Station. The selection has changed in time and now they have mostly Belgian beers, Duvel, Delirium Tremens, Maredsous and the like, and some other very rare beers that you can’t find anywhere else in Santiago. A small number of rare Chilean micros is also available. A recommended place.
