82 First Pizza Port visit at any location, and was definitely impressed, by both the beer and the pizza. Location near the beach was great too. Great selection of stuff made by them, their affiliates and other breweries. Pizza was thick crust and awesome too. Love the punkish beach vibe here. Awesome place in a city filled with awesome places. |
78 Rather uninspiring exterior, a block or so away from the main street. Inside, though, is a friendly looking surf shack vibe. Picnic tables and bar tables, and nice patio. The bartender was friendly and helpful, and was juggling a busy afternoon pretty well. Great spread of beers, mostly their own, but with some good guest options too. The flight is four 3 oz. pours, which is a little weak, but since I favored higher ABV stuff, it worked out. The pizza looked tasty, but we didn't have any of the food. Great spot in an awesome neighborhood. Worth the visit. |
80 Old school surf shack vibe with beer hall style long tables inside and a little bit of exterior patio seating. I suggest sitting at the bar or the patio seating because the picnic table area starts to feel like a Chuck-E-Cheese with all the kids running around after a while, and carpet in a restaurant is kind of gross. Service is counter style help yourself, but the bartender knew his stiff and was solid. Selection was impressive, like 30 taps that were all very solid picks, with at least two thirds their own beer. Pizza was great, well done and tasty, definitely worth a stop as it is an OG for San Diego. |
92 Quite large place in the walking distance of Ocean Beach, some seating outised as well, inside communal tables. Pretty fine selection on tap, flight available (small pours 1-2$). Pizza is also very tasty. Fine vibe, not crowded. Cool staff. A great, relaxed, beachy place. Loved my first visit to Pizza Port. |

80 Rather big brewpub, a little patio, brewery to the left as you enter, alot smaller than i thought beforehand. Bar in the back, communal seating, order your beers and food by the by the bar and get your name shouted out loud when ready. Overall giving the place a light cafeteria feel. About 20 tap's with mostly Pizza Port beers, but a few guest to. High quality of beers. 4 pcs flight avaible. Fast and friendly service, good prices. Our food, pizza and salad was good aswell. I would go again if in the area. |

78 Visited at lunchtime on 17th Jan 2018. Surfer dude meets beer geek sort of place. Large beer selection, mostly their own or other Pizza Port brews, but others too. Same format as the other Pizza Port places I have been at. Salads, Pizza or beer buddies for food, bench tables and basic. It works though. Brewing equipment in clear view, thin roadside patio drinking area too. |
90 A large place with a smallish bar, picnic style seating and a small patio outside. A beach vibe to the place overall. Service was pretty good and the bartender knew the beers. 40ish taps ranging from Pizza Port to other breweries. Pizza Port beer available in flights and a number of cans available to go. The pizza was quite good and the prices were maybe the cheapest I saw in San Diego. An awesome spot! |
78 Visited on a Saturday during lunch in February 2017. The place was quite crowded but still kind of laid back. The selection was good, both own beers and guest. The pizza was tasty. Table service would be a nice thing. |
