Pizzeria Paradiso - Old Town Alexandria

Pizzeria Paradiso is the best of both world, excellent selection, coupled with a excellent beer list, with a number of rarities. The pizza is homemade and of great ingredients and the beer (particularly the bottle list) is very strong.

Similar in feel, look and beer menu to the other Pizza Paradiso locations. Good beer menu with focus on international imports, both in bottle list and tap. Lots of odd stuff turns up here, with plenty of sours and off-kilter choices interesting for your average beer nerd. Pizza is good as in other locations, and I dig the olive tray they dole out when you arrive. Good service. They do flights for $15 or so, four picks. Not exactly cheap but not back considering the international stuff you get usually.

Located in old town Alexandria so there’s street parking as well as a number of parking garages nearby. Not a big place which makes for a cozy atmosphere. Solid tap list with a more impressive bottle list. Solid pizza for the area served by a friendly staff. I’m not sure it’s a destination place but it’s a lovely way to spend a weekend afternoon

Dinner stop. I have been to the other two Paradiso’s - same pizza here, perhaps a bit less of a tap list. Nothing crazy here on tap or bottles, but you will not walk away thirsty. They did offer flights, but I ended up with half and a bottle. Service good. Lots of smaller tables which is good for the business traveler type.

Great beer selection, cool atmosphere, fantastic pizza. Server was clueless as to beer.

Nice place in Old Town, decent size bar with tables around the perimeter. Solid selection of craft beer on draft and in bottles. Decent wine list. Flights available like the other locations. Decent prices, domestic craft drafts were $5-6 for 9-12 ounces, imported craft was around $10 for a full glass. Food is good if you like pizza and other Italian-style dishes. Service was fine. Not a bad stop if you’re in Old Town.

Pretty standard restaurant vibe. Every employee i dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful. Decent sized tap list with great variety. Large bottle list. Food is solid. Prices are very high but not necessarily exhorbiant for the area. Worth a stop if you’re in Old Town.

Good pizza, okay selection of drafts, huge bottle list, very much DC pricing, which is not a value. Okay for a stop, but not worth going out of your way
