Pop A Top

Small grocery/convenience store right in the middle of the downtown area, so definitely convenient in terms of location.

Not really a huge selection of beers here, but surprisingly good. A number of imports from places like Mikkeller, Trois Dames, De La Senne, De Molen, and some of the more typical things like St. Bernardus. A decent selection of Florida beers such as some of the year round offerings from Cigar City and the like, but nothing really mind blowing, but I suppose that’s probably not the intention here.

They have sandwiches and some good looking foods. Also a number of vegetarian dishes (I was honestly a bit surprised how vegan/vegetarian friendly Gainesville is). Some craft sodas available in the cooler as well.

Neat little store. Might as well pop in if you’re wandering around the area.

Small corner store on University and Main. Despite the size, they have a nice, focused selection. All of the regular FL stuff plus Crooked Stave, Blaugies, and other beers I did not see around town. Prices were a tad higher than Gator Beverage but not unreasonable. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.
