76 Many more taps than any bar in town that covers every style imaginable. Self-service concept where you pay by the ounce - with a few workers around to help if needed. Food available from nearby restaurant. Large bar that reminds me of a biergarten with wooden picnic tables. |
78 Recently opened just 1/2 block off of Main street near the Reedy River pedestrian bridge and the Peace Center. This is a pour-your-own, charged by the 1/10 oz beer/cider bar. There are also about 8 wine taps. This is a great place to try different beers, but rather pricey if you just want a couple of pints.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good selections of beers and ciders, including such rarities as a OB Barrel Aged Ten Fidy. More taps, more space, more seating, better service and a better atmosphere than the Asheville location. I haven’t tried the food yet but will certainly return. |
