Pravda Beer Theatre

Just fifty metres WNW of Ratusha Lviv, Rynok, huge beerpoint on the NW corner of the block. Dozen taps and hundred bottles. Many beer-gifts in that shop. "Pravda Pivoteka". Pity that covid19, kitchen could not work. Brewery brews quite close to the appropriate style. I came before 14'', a calm time. When in Lviv, visit Pravda.

Visited in October 2018. This place is huge, which shows how big craft beer is in Lwów at the moment. A whole building at the main square, complete with several storeys and a huge amount of tables. Slightly industrial decor, lots of live shows on many evenings. Service was good, food was superb - the veal was wonderfully tender. Beerwise Pravda is definitely not the European cream of the crop, though some beers were definitely agreeable. On the downside is the ill-concealed nationalistic chauvinism of the people who run or own this place, as visible in the politically charged lighting or the label of their imperial stout.

Store staff could be more respectful

Miejsce oblegane przez turystów, glownie z Polski. Wybor piw nienajgorszy, choc duzo "zwyklych" rodzajów. Muzyka na zywo, ciagla impreza. Zajrzec, ale nie zachwycac sie specjalnie.

Very nice place with good beer!
