84 Great atmosphere and good service, reasonable selection. The roof terrace is a nice place, even in January. |
80 The best place in town I’ve managed to find. Pleasant interior, lots of wood. Very nice terrace upstairs we’ve enjoyed dinner up there after a long drive to Prescott. Beer selection is quite good, 30 taps, nothing spectacular, but good amount of AZ breweries. About 100 bottles in fridges, some quite interesting, caught myself a Hopslam. Food was good, service as well. Would revisit. |
68 Nice little cafe in the heart of the town centre, firstly across the street from Granite Mountain. Lots of taps but beers not available in flights or taster sizes, so not an ideal ticker place. They have but stopped serving at 2pm, so didn’t eat. Service is friendly. Not a mandatory stop when in town, but it’s a nicely set-up place. |
78 Nice hipster coffee shop with a great beer list, about 30 taps. Live jazz when I stopped in on a Saturday night. Good place to hang out. |
70 Cool place. Coffe shop, beer bar had you can even take bottles to go. Great upstairs patio. Fun place! |
82 This place has a great ambiance... typical coffe house with interesting art on the walls, an upstairs area, tables outside and lots of little nooks and crannies to sit. The coffee is great, they are sophisticated enough to ask if you want your cappuccino wet or dry. The bar is great, with a good tap selection and a wide variety of bottles. On Wed nights they play an old movie. Last time I was visiting I sat down and wanted Casablanca on their big projector while enjoying a nice IPA on tap with my sister. Nice! |
50 My obeservation coincides with Nbutler’s account, for the most part. My wife and i were coming back from a trip to the Grand Canyon and decided to stay overnight in Prescott. We walked around town (easily accomplished in a 1/2 hour) and found the Raven. On tap beer selection was quite good given a small town. The ambiance was interesting as it doubles as coffeehouse. Having the usual coffehouse culture of dolts with their laptops/cellphones camped out at tables for hours is annoying but upstairs, is an outdoor patio. Nice! Food was below average and service was slow. Beverage manager was a nice fellow, though. I’d definitely come here again...Only for a couple pints sans the food. |
84 My wife and I took a summer road trip to Prescott for her family’s reunion. Naturally, we had to find the best beer spot in town! You would think that the local brewery would be good, but it wasn’t. I wouldn’t recommend the Prescott brewery to really anyone, except maybe if you actually like Budweiser. Anywho, this place really was the bomb. Excellent beer selection, along with a casual, but well executed menu, made for an excellent evening. The wait staff more on the douchy side of things, but that’s to be expected in a place like this. Overall, it makes me happy that my wife’s family calls Prescott home, so we can return year after year! Cheers! |
62 Great atmosphere, but looks much more like a comfortable coffee house rather than a bar. Lots of people were on their laptops, so I assume they have wireless. Strong taplist which I wasn’t expecting along with a focused selection of bottles. 6 AleSmith offerings in Prescott?? I’m impressed. The downside is the food and customer service, which couldn’t have seemed more disinterested in pleasing customers. Had to wait more than 20 minutes to get a chicken salad sandwich, which sucked, and there were two cooks and two wait staff -nearly outnumbering the 5 patrons. WTF? |
96 The Raven Cafe has an ongoing fascination with the ancient human drink that is simply a malt sweetened, yeast fermented beverage enhanced with hops. Beer! The selection at the Raven consists of the best pale ales, porters, stouts, lagers, bocks, belgians, strong ales, hefewiezens, seasonals, barleywines, and other specialty ales that represent some of the greatest brews and breweries from around the world. The menu is an ever-evolving selection of fine drafts and bottles offered in various styles and sizes. The food focuses on Local and Organic Sustainable specials. The Raven Burger is a standard not to miss featuring the best local grass fed beef. The Raven is in the style of classic European cafes, which in addition to great beer also includes over 200 fine wines, organic- locally roasted coffee, teas, food, art, music, and a relaxing atmosphere to discuss business or just hang out at. The Live music features some of the most talented underground and local artists.
