Neighborhood restaurant specializing in gourmet burgers, along with other sandwiches, some salads, etc. Also has a pretty good rotating tap list of beers, along with a wide variety of mixed drinks. Dining room was kind of quiet the night we were there (a Sunday). Also has an attached bar area and outdoor seating. Food was great. The beer choices were interesting. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves.

My first visit to a Red Cow. This location is small and it was nearly an hour wait for a table. Good tap list. I found a few things new to me and there were other options not commonly seen on tap in the Twin Cities. This is not a cheap evening out; 2 burgers and 3 total beers was $50. The food was good. One of the better burgers in the twin cities. Solid place. The ambiance is very southwest Minneapolis, and very noisy. Service was more friendly, without being strange like the Olive Garden.

A more quaint Red Cow location. Large bar surround by seating in one room with the other containing additional seating. Dimly lit. Service is solid but can be a bit slow when the place is hopping. A solid tap selection that rotates at a decent pace. Food is great and prices are a bit high but in line with the area. Not the best of the Red Cows, but worth a stop if you are in the area.

The smaller, older sister of the Red Cow branch I normally visit in the North Loop. The tap list is about half as big as the North Loop location (30ish), but still offered plenty of interesting options. The food’s excellent high-brow burgers and apps - good stuff if you need ballast for a day of drinking. Prices are a bit high for the TCs, but still decent value.

Much like the other location that jackl and I visited, maybe a bit smaller, smaller parking lot. Fair sized ? shaped bar, very small patio. Decent enough beer list, good burgers of course. Service was friendly and efficient. Worth a stop.

I like this place a lot. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about what’s on tap. Really large tap selections and they host lots of good takeovers and events. Almost always something interesting on tap. Food is also really good. Maybe not the best value but a good spot non the less.

Not sure if it is always this busy on a Friday at lunch, but damn the place was packed. The ambiance was cool, they seemed to try to mesh an old time feel with a current vibe. Service was solid and the beer list was nice plus they had a special Surly Cynic on cask for $3 (most other beers were $5-7 for a pint). The food was very good and the burgers that came highly recommended did not disappoint. This is a nice 1-2 punch with Pig & Fiddle. I would definitely come back.

Went to Red Cow for the Surly Tap Takeover tonight. Clearly mobbed beyond what you’d ordinarily expect for a Wednesday night, but the staff handled it quite well. Although I would agree with Bvery that the food prices are a little high, the beer prices seemed fairly reasonable. And although you wouldn’t typically find 12 different Surlys on tap, the rest of their selection seemed pretty stellar, including Duvel on tap. The food was outstanding. The Barcelona burger I had was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The Scotch egg app was excellent t and the wings were plump, juicy and flavorful. Overall how can you say something negative about a place that had outstanding food and a great beer selection?

Visited here on 5.13.13. Decent tap selection - about 36 in total. Good selection of locals, plus several others. Food was outstanding. Pretty loud inside, but it was packed (there is a bar area and a restaurant area). Some outdoor patio seating. Small parking lot, but plenty of parking available on the neighborhood streets. Somewhat pricey, but not outrageously so given the location and quality of food - 1 app, 2 dinners, 1 soda, and 1 glass of wine with tax/tip was $50.
