66 Large space with a large patio; modern garage decor; 12 beers on tap; pizza available; free WiFi; flights of 4 available |
76 Huge outdoor seating area, much of it covered. Only place we visited in Portland doing flights during COVID. Beers were decent. Staff were very friendly. |
76 They've recently taken over the space next door, so this is a big place - large L-shaped bar on the front end of the brewhouse plus a big parking lot patio with lots of picnic tables. They were grilling whole lobsters out there when I stopped by. Beers were tasty, available as flight of four 4 ounce pours. There is also a secret tap of house made root beer. Good music playing, people were be-bopping and dancing. Great hangout spot. |
76 Big open space in a garage, huge crowd on a Saturday right around three in late June 2016. Had been previously, and will likely stop in again during a future Portland trip. A couple food trucks outside, having a distillery next door makes the whole parking lot into a pretty cool place to be on a gorgeous summer day. Twelve beers on, flights are $8/4x4oz, and 10oz pours for $4. Beers are good, but not the best around, but the atmosphere and service compensates for that quite nicely. Super friendly servers, very happy people (there seemed to be a wedding party that was hanging out here). Given the proximity to so many other places (Bunker, Oxbox, Lone Pine, UFF, Maine Mead), it’s definitely worth a quick stop here as well.

74 This place was hopping as we arrived. Between the brewery and the distillery next door, and their makeshift patios out front, a lot of people drinking, eating, and playing games.
Found a couple of seats at the bar inside. They had 9 or 10 beers on, though the vast majority are available everywhere in town, so really just a couple of unique draft only beers. We ordered some tasters and the beer quality was generally pretty decent, though nothing exceptional. Service wasn’t great, though I’ll give them a bit of a pass as they were quite busy. I wouldn’t say this place is a must visit in town just due to the fact that you can get their beer pretty much anywhere. But it is probably the easiest place to try everything and get the most bang for your buck. |
70 Visited 2016 February during Maine Brewbus trip. Large warehouse with nice atmosphere. Beers were quite good but nothing special. |
76 brewery located in an old garage/warehouse type space. Great ambience on the date because it was their 6th anniversary. Very friendly vibe with food trucks and lots of mirth. The beers were more varied and impressive than what I had previously from them. Seems like a cool neighborhood place that you’d want to hang out with a nice outdoor area. |
72 Nice cool place in an old redone auto garage. Nice outdoor space to hang out and a good amount of indoor space. Not a ton on tap when we were there, like 4 of their own, but I am told they generally have more. Solid beers although fairly normal styles. Laid back and a nice place to hang out and have solid beers and they have food trucks. Would go back. |
74 Visited early evening on a Tuesday and it was already getting pretty busy. Big outdoor area that is sectioned off from the parking lot with tables and games and the like. Bar inside with the brewing equipment. Service was pretty good. Beers were fine, though certainly not up to the level of much of the Portland competion, but they are open when others are not and located right in Portland, walking distance from Oxbow. Worth a quick stop, but not a destination. |
74 We stopped by on a weekday morning 10 minutes after they opened. We got fast service with only one other couple before us. I chose a flight of 4 beers from their small list of beers. They were quite good. We bought a bag of flavored popcorn. It’s a nice new clean place. |
