60 Right next to Hampton Inn and easy to get a beer. The hazy IPAs we ok. Good to get some half pours. |
52 Hooked to the hotel but not a hotel bar. Had food did not try it. Beer mediocre especially for Portland. |
64 Long waits at other establishments on Fore St., no wait here, which could potentially indicate a problem. But mostly it's fine, just nothing special. Beer selection was fine, beers themselves were okay. Food was fine. Service was not great, and it appeared other tables were also having some problems: orders wrong, no place settings, having to search for someone/anyone to get little things fixed. Probably okay if you're sitting at the bar trying to tick a couple of beers. |
32 Bad. |
60 Connected to a Hampton Inn which is the only reason ambled over here on a Monday night. Place has a corporate sports bar vibe though it was surprisingly busy. Both food and beer are mediocre and overpriced. Only come here out of desperation or for the place tick. |
66 Walked here from Oxbow, mainly because it was one of the few places still open. Sebago is connected to a Hampton in and has that chainy hotel bar feel to it. Did not try the food but sampled two beers (5 oz tasters available for a couple of bucks). One of the two was pretty solid, the other Meh. I just could not dig in deeper given the sterile vibe of the place. |
78 Walking around and needed to let kid run and cause a ruckus and saw this place with fenced outdoor space that was empty so I volunteered to have a beer. Corporate kinda of brewpub attached to hotel. Business lunch crew there but grabbed a fresh IPA and enjoyed. Fine place in a town that is overflowing with beery goodness. |
60 Dated review, but I would say every time I’ve been here, I’d say this was a pretty good place. Only their beers, and I can understand that. Food is always very good. Servers know what they’re doing to suggest certain beers with certain foods. Decent value for the Portland area. I’d go back if I had the chance. |
76 The interior is a bit......odd, too bright and airy but not comfortable feeling...it will never be confused for that well worn neighborhood place which one feels at home, too inner city (but perhaps that is proper in that area, just not my style). Our waitress was quite friendly and outgoing, well versed with the area and easy to converse with. The food was fairly well done, higher inner city prices. Did the beer sampler and was pleasantly surprised......the Sebago rye beers were well done as was a low alcohol whisky aged stout and a quite adequate IPA. |
68 A rather bland corporate feeling place connected to a Hampton Inn. Food I had was mediocre and menu was generally uninteresting, particularly compared to some of the great restaurants nearby. The seasonal IPA I had was quite good, but did not have a chance to sample a variety. Would go back for the beers but skip the food and it is not really a place that invites you to hang out for an afternoon. Service was friendly and efficient. |
