82 The selection is pretty solid indeed. A ton of minnesota brews and a solid selection of national and international highly rated beers. Definitely worth a stop if you are in town. |
88 Strong liquor store with a pretty nice feel to the place. Service was good and they had a large selection. The layout of the beers was a bit confusing. No food and prices seem in line with the area. One of the better bottle shops in Minneapolis. |
90 Pretty amazing bottle shop. Just a massive selection of beer. They had just stocked a bunch of surly darkness when I walked in. I looked around for some time before settling on my selections. Competitive prices, great lay out. A must stop when in Minneapolis |
82 Really a top shelf place. Crazy large selection. I was pressed for time so I’m not sure if it’s too sane of a layout, as I’d stumble into seemingly random stacks I’d expect elsewhere (ex a section labeled Belgians, but finding lots of Belgians elsewhere too.) A ton of cooler space. Prices seemed in line with average. Quite a few Europeans that I haven’t seen around town in ages, especially Italian. If you’re into it, the whisky selection is also stupidly outstanding. |
84 Easily one of the best shops in the Twin Cities. This place probably offers well over 500 bottles including an international section that drawfs the comparable selection of other stores in the area. Plenty of singles were available, making it easy to accumulate ticks without breaking the bank. I spent a good while perusing the well-organized aisles before leaving with a quality assortment of beers from near and far. While I wasn’t offered assistance, staff seemed to be on hand to help out customers. Prices were in line with other stores in the area. |
76 Definitely a recommended spot in the Twin Cities. I think some of the others have a larger selection, but this one is good quality. They have a have a "sours" section, which I haven’t seen too often. Nice selection of singles as well. Service was only okay. Not too helpful, at least when I was there. Otherwise a really good place to buy craft beer. |
78 I go to this place all the time, I have rarely had anyone ask me if I needed help but if I did they were great. Great selection of imports. Great selection of wines and spirits as well. |
80 Stopped in today after work to pick up Surly 8. Very nice store with friendly service. A nice surprise was 4 packs of Backwoods for sale, when most others are selling singles. I will be back for sure. |
90 This is certainly one of the overall best liquor stores in the city. It is massive, and it is packed with quality and excellent selection across the board; beer is no exception. Singles are plentiful, and the Belgian selection is impeccable, featuring a staggering array of uncommon choices. German bottles are kept refrigerated. Beyond beer, this place challenges any in terms of liquor selection and is ahead of the trend curves in offering a massive variety of specialty rums, and imported and craft cordials. They even have an open bar of sorts from which the staff can pour samples of virtually any liquor they sell, which is an incredible service. Couldn’t imagine a better store given the limits of distribution. |
80 Wow, what a store! Huge selection of beers, very large mix and match section. Kid in a candy store kind of place for me. One of the best shops in town. |
