90 Huge place just next to Jack's Abby. Lots if interesting beers available. Samples 4oz and flights of four for tick hunters. Nitro cold brew tap for hipsters. They do have Cerbeerus 5000 and when I visited they had two barrels attached straight to taps. It's just great that you have two very good places just next to each other and their selection is totally different. Great place. They have lots of entertainment games so I assume this place could be noisy when packed up. |
86 Located in the warehouse before you get to Jack's Abby. It's on the 2nd floor which means stairs or the worlds slowest elevator. Whereas Jack's Abby feels fairly commercial, this place feels more comfortable. It's a loft space with a bar, a number of tables, pinball machines, and cornhole. This place feels much more like a hangout place. The beers are adventurous and encompass styles not available at Jack's Abby with the barrel aged stuff being the big winner. The bartender on duty was personable and made several great suggestions. I actually like this place way more than Jack's Abby. |
86 Nice roomy taproom for Jack’s Abby’s side project brewery. Located in the same building as Jack’s Abby on the same side of the street, just walk to the opposite end of the entrance. Friendly bar service. Good variety of styles including hazy IPAs, sours, stouts, lagers, and more. No food but you can order pizza delivery from Jack’s Abby for a small fee, so just eat at Jack’s Abby before or after. Well worth a stop if you’re around the area or near Boston, no brainer paired with a stop to Jack’s Abby. |
