Taihu Craft Beer Tasting Room

A very nice and spacious bar with communal seating and long high tops only. Cocktails downstairs. Staff is nice but not really beer focused. English is good and they are attentive. Big pours only and no flights. Painful as a ticker, but you sample no problem. Quality is all over the map and most of the food is American style and pricy.

Another Taihu bar, this one with a sleek, modern interior with plenty of seating and a rather beautiful bar. Since this was the third Taihu bar I’ve been to, there wasn’t a whole lot new for me, as the taplists seem to all be very similar. 12 or so house taps, plus another 12 guests. No flight, but bartenders will give tastes. So you’re looking at either 330 or 500mL pours for 200 or 300 NTD—the usual, steep Taipei beer prices. If you only come to one Taihu bar, make it this one or Driftwood.
