TDM 1874 Brewery

Inconvient, but cool place. Kyoto’s review is spot on above but what I was surprised is a big selection of Japanese craft beers by the bottle and huge sale selection. This is a serious liquor destination beyond the fact it’s a brewery as well. Lots of people coming in and our just to pick up a few bottles of this and that. I’d be here all the time if it was in my neighborhood. Food was not bad as well and very reasonably priced

Location is a bit inconvenient. 8-10 minute walk from Tokaichiba station. Small taproom area, with a liquor shop and the brewery. No room for a crowd, but nice if not crowded. Prices are very good, about ¥430 / ¥740 for 1/2 pint and pint (plus tax). Had just the first 4 beers but they were all quite good and should get even better. If it was near my house, I would stop in regularly. As it is, I will definitely make the trek when I am in Yokohama in order to see how the beers progress.
