74 Small bar in Dublin just outside the main touristy area. They had a bunch of Galway beers on tap, probably 10-15. Pretty good beers and plenty of styles to choose from. No TVs, small place with tables, not very crowded. The beer was quite good, so it's worth a stop. |
78 Small place with a few tables inside. Also have a snack bar and tables on the street. 20 taps of mostly Galway Bay beers. Friendly service. |
74 Another Galway Bay pub we've visited on our first evening in Dublin. Medium sized place spreading over two floors, wasn't very crowded. Decent selection of taps, Galway Bay dominating the list, guest beers weren't that interesting. Worth checking if nearby. |
74 Being a Galway Bay pub, seven of the taps were theirs while the others were various Irish and/or international craft and one was a cider. Prices are in the €5.50 - 6.75/pint range. |
70 Small place on the edge of the touristy area. Small bar upstairs with a few bar tables. Very small games area downstairs near the entrance and a couple of sidewalk tables. Friendly server put her first flight together for me. The taplist was a bit smaller than other Galway Bay bars b ut I still found four interesting beers I hadn't had before, including one from Cloudwater. They do have full meals but I didn't eat. OK if you're in the neighborhood anyway |
46 We visited late on a weekday afternoon in mid-July. A couple dozen beers on tap. Seating upstairs was stuffy and unpleasant. Food offerings looked okay, but nothing special. Service was lousy. We soon moved on. |
56 An ok beer bar. Has some new beers too mee, Mostly Galways though. |
78 My first stop after Guinness Storehouse. 8 Galway Bay beers on tap and craft beers from Ireland UK and US. Taster trays (3 x 15 cl for 5,50 Euro, and Galway Bay only) Nice service, free sampler and rock music at comfortable sound level. Simple interior, as in "all" craft beer bars. 80 Another nice Galway bar. I was there early Sunday evening and just a handful of people in the place. Thus, I couldn’t judge the ambiance 100%. Most of the taps were from Galway, but you could also find some US and European good beers. A must stop on your pub crawl. |
90 Easily the best tap selection in Dublin by far. Bottles are overpriced but taps are reasonably good value and the selection is good enough that you wont have to worry about bottles. |
