Went to the upstair part. Restored to old glory with marble and chandeliers, pleasant elegant atmosphere, friendly staff, small decent taplist, food looked good.

First off, there is no real signage. A faded placard with a hand scrawled name was about it. Inside its an old house style, bar area up front with several dining rooms in back. There is a basement as well that I did not check out. Not busy on a Sunday night. I did not ask about flights, which was apparently a mistake based on prior review. Oh well. They do have half pours, but during happy hour there is no savings there. I tried a couple of things that were pretty solid and ordered the garlic fries, which were good but a bit soggy. Service was quite good. I would go back. Prices were quite reasonable.

Beautiful spot, with many different rooms of seating. Feels old but elegant, with a beautiful chandelier in the main room where the bar is. 6 beers on tap available in a flight for $9, a good deal. Beer styles skew towards the Belgian. Some beers were decent, others not so much. Very friendly service. They have a nice looking food menu too with tons of vegetarians options. Worth a look.

Stopped in on a warm Baltimore day for an afternoon beer; the AC had the building down to maybe the low sixties and it was rather uncomfortably cold for people wearing summer clothes. The vibe of the bar is a tidy, old-time English pub with lots of brass and black, while the back dining room is a cold, dim white tablecloth setting. The food menu is upscale European fare, with possibly the highest prices and displayed culinary ambition Ive ever seen in a brewpub environment. A small handful of house beers on tap, somewhat eclectic and leaning toward Belgian styles; good quality if not outstanding. More impressive is the compact, high-quality bottles list where top flight breweries such as De Dolle, Schlenkerla and De la Senne are represented for reasonable prices. Somewhat scattershot, but well-meaning service during a seemingly unexpectedly busy afternoon happy hour. If a little disjointed of a concept, this is for sure a top place for beer in Baltimore.

We came here 14.4.2017. Small brewpub and a separated restaurant area, decorated with a lot of art. The small brewhouse is behind a glass door at the end of the restaurant. Own beers are mediocre, no beer flaws but not a lot of taste. Really liked the very original tap handles, symbolizing the different beer names (e.g a wooden birdhouse for the beer with the same name). They have a quite interesting bottle beer selection: Mahr’s, Schlenkerla, Celebrator, ... Service is quite robotic, not a lot of beer emotions.

Lovely building. Really liked the atmosphere. Good vibe. Staff was very attentive, enthusiastic and helpful. Decent selection. Food was quite tasty. The beers were all rather lacking.

Cool place. Saturday night, busy. Good prices, cool staff, interesting mix of people, good food. One of the better Baltimore stops.

Beautiful building with the upstairs bar area elegantly decorated and slick looking. The beers are staple Belgian style ales that are well brewed. I was after half pours but being happy hour it worked out a full glass for the same price...so yeah good deal. The bartender provided great service and it helped that there was only a few folks gathered before the after work rush. Enjoyed my time and a must in Baltimore.

Very cool brewpub with a mainfloor and basement near the train station. Lots of local flavor here and a good atmosphere. Only six of their beers on tap, but a flight is cheap at $6.50. Great place to pop into.

Great place, but not my cup of tea. Building is incredible. Good lighting upstairs. Tok dark in the basement. Hip and loud. Exactely what I try to avoid. If you are in to that, giv e it a shot. The food is good. The prices are reasonable. The beers are goodand they have a good sselection of guest taps.
