The Brewhouse / Bargara Brewing

Located in Bundaberg city, The Brewhouse is a medium-sized venue with adequate seating and the brewing facilities of Bargara Brewing located under the same roof. Service was friendly and efficient enough with all staff having good knowledge of their products. There are about seven taps with the Bargara Brewing range, one of their ciders and one guest tap with another local brew. However it was very disappointing that, at the time of my visit, two of their core beers were not available on tap. Self-choice tasters of any four beers (so long as they are on tap) are available in two sizes - minute (maybe 50ml) and large (285ml) and prices are craft beer standard. Bottled product is for sale for takeaway, mostly as six-packs. The beers are of an individual taste. Worth a visit only if in the town.

Cool little place in Bundaberg’s quiet CBD. Unfortunately, the hours listed on the website do not refer to this brewpub but rather the brewery, which you can’t visit - what is the logic in that? Staff were friendly enough to inform us of this, but I don’t appreciate the false advertising. Will fix this review if they change the info.

Visited on March 27th 2016. Large brewery and taproom in Bundaberg. It’s a large space with brewery visible and a large seating area. 12 beers on tap available, bottle also but cannot take them away. Tasting flight also available. Service was good, food was available in the shape of pizza which was really good too. Tried the whole range and the beer was decent enough without being world beating. If you’re in the area go visit. They do have distribution a bit further afield so you can get the beer in other places. A nice hour or two spent here.
