62 Bar in a shopping mall attached to big hotel. But it is better than that makes it sound. It’s comfortable and friendly. At 5:30 on a Monday not too busy! There are about ten taps, primarily Sydney Brewery and a reasonable range of cans and bottles. Happy hour is very affordable, otherwise maybe a bit pricey. |
50 A curiosity, this place, since it's basically a hotel bar that serves the Sydney Brewery range on tap. The ciders on tap the night we visited did not seem to be theirs. Ambience is very much that of a hotel bar. Clientele seemed to be 90% hotel guests. There were as many people drinking coffee as supping beer. Pricing is expensive because it's a hotel bar with a captive market: $10 for a schooner of cider. Service was bright, youthful and friendly. Didn't try the food. Worth visiting if you want to run through the Sydney Brewery range and don't mind the expense. Also felt like a welcome escape from the busy streets. |
40 Beautiful location located upstairs in Rydges World Square right downtown. A few craft beers and ciders on tap (including house beers and ciders of Sydney Brewery downstairs). Bunch of bottled ciders as well. They do cocktails too, though the one we ordered was quite terrible really. Service was very friendly. Prices were average, or even not as bad given the location. Can’t recommend this place for quality despite the great location and interior of the place. |
