52 Visited August 1, 2013. Walked down from Irish Murphy’s, close to the center and the water. Seemed a bit posh almost, fairly big place with a long bar, plenty of indoors seating, some outdoors seating as well. Nice view of the water. Decent mix of craft and macro beers on the taps, a few bottles only. Decent service, but nothing that stood out at all. A few other guests, mainly seemed to be wine drinkers though (the enemy!) Much better chance of finding an Oz beer than at Irish Murphy’s. Still not a huge craft beer place. |
62 It almost has more of a club feel than a bar, but I heard the selections was one of the best in Geelong. It definately is the best I’ve seen in the city, but not great by any standards. I was able to get a few things that I’d not seen yet. The menu looked pretty good, but I didn’t try anything. I would go back based on the decent selection alone, but only to tick a few more Aussie beers. |
