The Growler Guys

Another pit stop to fill up before heading out of town. Lots of the smaller Bend breweries represented. Good fast service.

Was expecting a storefront and not a service station and drove past it a few times before winding up inside. The fill station is a really cool little corner of what is just a simple service mart. Great service with lots of local and west coast selections. Good selection of regular and half sized growlers. Very inexpensive and quick place to get a growler. Despite my regular vacations in the Bend area this took me to a section of town I had never visited which I enjoyed seeing.

Tucked inside a Chevron station near Newport Market, this is the "go to" place in Bend if you’d like a great selection for a growler. They are generous in giving you as many tastes as you need to make a purchase. They have tons of locals on tap, harder to find national selections, and even carry their "house beer" a collaboration Wheat IPA done with Oakshire Brewing. Based on them letting us taste, we chose a brewery we didn’t thing we would (Silver Moon) and enjoyed a great Tropical Zombie IPA.
