The Old Brewery (formerly Old Swan Brewery)

Was expecting more, instead it was an upscale brewpub, beers mediocre. Just stopped in for a beer, staff was ambivalent. more interested in serving meals. Hard to get to location, also.

I really enjoyed this place. Some fantastic wines here. Went herewith the business partners and shared the tomahawk (2.8 kilo t-bone). Food was great. It is definitely more restaurant focused but as of late some good beers have been popping up here. Recently had a black IPA from these guys and their tomahawk IPA which is good to see. Definitely wasn’t good beers 3/4 years ago when I was here last. Worth a trip if just for the view and steak

Great place! A little pricy, but they have their own beers and the food is top notch. Sitting on the side of the river on a lazy afternoon with a few beers is definitely recommended.

Very nice restaurant and they brew on the side, these beers are only currently available at the restaurant because of their liquor licence restrictions.

Now called the "Old Brewery" and run by some very pretentious geezers wearing white shoes, this place tries to hide its embarrasment as housing a brewery but doesnt do it very well. House beers are mediocre, with the pale ale and pils full of diacetyl. ON the plus side, the bar tender serving beers, actually knew a bit about the styles. With wines upto nearly $1000AUD on the menu, its das to see that the only other beers availbale were mega swill. Totally uninviting, beers are forgetable

Finally got in a few months ago to have a meal, after 3 failed bookings, and have been back regularly ever since. Lovely food, million dollar views and the best service I have ever had. Oh yeah, and they brew some decent quaffers.

Gorgeous river views, decent food, spotty service (we had three separate servers, none of which seemed very on the ball, and none of which knew much about the beer). The reason to come here is to have a beer by the river on a beautiful day.

Presents great promise but dosn’t deliver, brewpub a non-entitiy, get the feeling it really just want to be a restaurant, the brewery is more of an hindrance

Not sure if it wants to be a restaurant or a brewpub. Seems to be handling both well enough, but will struggle to proceed if they want to go in one specific direction. Great location on the river!
