Thought I had rated this already...small store with the beer crammed in one side. Wine seems the priority, at least when I was in. Nobody really trying to help, but they were setting up for a wine tasting of sorts. Decent selection of stuff you won’t find on shelves in most other FL places. They were the only place to have Pretty Things before they pretend-stopped-brewing to get the pity. Other than that brewer they had some decent selections.

Pretty cool little place that has a few beers on tap and some seating outside to enjoy a brew or two. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The space is split into a craft beer section, a wine section and they had some cigars too. The selection wasn’t massive but everything they had was quality and there were quite a few rare beers. Average prices. If I lived in Gainesville this would be my go-to place for sure.

Stopped in for the first time after the Swamp Head BA 10-10-10 and BA Roosevelt release. Nice looking well-lit place. Friendly staff, some knowledgeable employees for sure. Everyone says this is the best selection in Gainesville, and I believe it. Lots of Shelton stuff and just about anything else good you would want to find in town. Average prices. If you’re in Gainesville, this is probably where you want to stop.

Small bottle shop in SW Gainesville near the suburbs. Very clean and well organized. Service is good; staff is knowledgeable. Selection is very good for Gainesville: lots of Florida beer (Cigar City, Saint Somewhere, Swamp Head, etc) as well as other stuff available in the region. Nice selection of Belgians, including some lambic. Prices are comparable to Gator beverage, maybe a bit higher. They also sell wine and cigars.

Stopped in before a Gator game for some tailgate brews. Seems like a cool place. Several Cigar City’s and a nice selection of what you’d expect to find in a proper craft brew bottleshop here in FL. I’m always on the hunt for anything sour (which we’re starved for in Tally) and they had a couple belgians I hadn’t run into before. Also had three or four on tap. Overall seems like a place I’d frequent if I were in G-ville.

One of only two places in Gainesville with an excellent selection of beer. Have landed stuff from Cantillon and plenty of other fun things like Fantome, Prestige de Nuits, Pannepot, Cantillon, Black Damnations, Cigar City and Swamp Head. Landed some Black Note here. Great spot. They allow inclusion of any single in a mix-six, which is nice. They have some rotating taps there in the store, and a good selection of wine. And they’re back to doing growlers in the shop. Tastings of rare stuff like LP Gueuze, Hommage, other Cantillon and barrel aged stuff. Great staff that is friendly and knowledgable. The place to be in Gainesville for beers.

For an American shop, this one isn’t particularily large, but it has a very nice selection of brewers and beers, with seemingly a focus on seasonals, anniversary editions and such. No extremely rare stuff maybe but well above average. Moderate amount of Cigar City, probably because everything seems to be recent/fresh here. Prices are in line with other shops/good supermarkets around. Has RateBeer tags on various bottles. Friendly service, not pushy at all. One of the best places in Gainesville.

Nice little bottle shop/wine store with a few taps and a nice bottle selection. Did not have the Cigar City brews I was hoping for, but they had plenty of other nice options. Worth a stop.

Love to stop by Tipple’s whenever I am passing through Gainesville. Definitely a beer snob store with great selection and always interesting finds. I love that they have a few taps so that you can have a beer while browsing the beer. They also have several tasting events throughout the year which are also great. The staff is helpful when asked about beer and really know their stuff. The stuff is a bit pricey, but you definitely get the quality. A fine beer resource in NoFla.
