Seats for around 100. Selection of tables or standard bar or island bars with stools. Parking is a little tough day or night. All the parking is owned by surrounding businesses. Some street parking available, Food was good and you get plenty. WIFI available. Beer selection pretty good. Beer menu is solid. Not sure about flights. The waitress brought me a taste in a pint glass. Seating is first come first serve, and you seat yourself. Pretty nice place if your in the area I would suggest you stop by.

Small corner bar across the river from Chattanooga. Has a nice neighborhood feel. Cool bar with really good service and a nice ambiance. re p selection was mostly regional. Nothing rate on tap but selection was decent. Had a burger which was supposed to be their specialty, but I didn’t think it was anything special. If I lived in the area it would probably be my favorite bar to go to. Unfortunately Chattanooga doesn’t have the greatest distribution.

Great tiny spot at the end of tremont. Absolutely huge selection of beers. The food is pretty good too. The only thing to complain about is that it is kind of small so sometimes it’s hard to find a seat.

This is a typical neighborhood sports bar but has a surprisingly good beer selection for this city. I’d venture to say it’s the best second to Taco Mac. Tap selection is ample with the new Chattanooga Brewery beer available along with staples like Sweetwater and Highland. They even had Hop Project on tap. The bottle list is pretty vast. They encourage their clientele to try all the beers with one of those checklists to fill for a prize. I had a cheese steak which was nothing short of excellent. I had a great time. I’ll likely return on my next stop in Chattanooga.

Aw shizzle was this place crowded and not much for parking. Street parking up this one hilly curvy street made for a treacherous one way road. Nice but limited taps and a cooler full of bottled beers. Small place but nice open layout to the bar maximized the available space. Didn’t eat but saw a few burger platters that looked pretty nice.

The Tavern is a pretty nice little place to get a beer. The location of this place is both one of its strongest suits, as well as its downfall. It’s on the corner of Hixson Pike & Tremont Ave which is far enough away from downtown to keep the tourists away (the good) but also far enough away that locals who want to be downtown normally can’t/won’t make it back to (the bad). They’ve just recently added the Moccassin Bend Brewing Company to their selection so hopefully their support of the newest local microbrewery will help them out.

I went here tonight. And I must say this is a really cool pub. A rather small place but not cramped either. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was also very good. Of the 10 taps only one was swill. And most of the 140 bottles were quality beers. They do keep limited swill on hand but not very much. The food and beer prices were very reasonable. Tonight was a $3 special for 8 wings. The pints of Sweetwater were also on special for $3.50. They certainly do as good as you can expect in the area. A classy place! I will definitley be going back

I admit to being an employee, yet I find that Tremont is what we all really would want in a bar a cool local place where you can choose from a wide variety of beer offerings, eat a great burger, and hang out with others from your neighborhood. This is not a meat market, and you don’t have to worry about smoke or sleaze. Watch those bathroom locks though.
