80 Cool old warehouse build-out. Nice small patio on the side. Selection was decent, with a good number of to-go beers. Staff was really nice, though a bit slow for the time of day (it was close to opening and there weren't many people there). Solid beers on tap. |
74 A nice brewery in downtown Richmond. Completely packed on a Saturday night. It's a decent sized place, with long tables and a small bar. We ended up standing in a corner as everything was full. Their guava and dragonfruit berliner weisse was delicious. They have a food menu (mostly pizzas), but I didn't order anything. A nice place to grab a beer downtown. |
82 Really liked this place. Came in pretty late in the evening so we didn't have much time but the girl in the bar was helpful and helped us out as much as we needed. Beers are great too. |
68 Interesting brickhouse which has inside smallish industrial-like taproom bar. Lots of crowler selling. Nice service. No flights (for me at least) but got two half pours at time. Beers were very good. |
70 This is a funky little spot. Many great, hoppy beers. Some interesting fruited ones as well. |
64 Good selection and a reasonable flight available for most of their beers. Have an industrial feel to it, a little bit of the beaten path, but overall a pleasant surprise. Beers are great! |
68 Nice clean industrial feel tap room with exposed brick and painted metal. One of the bartenders was nice and attentive, the other was bored and surly. Decent selection while we were there, IPA heavy. Average pricing. |
84 Small brewery with a decent amount of tables inside, nice patio/deck outside too. Small bar. A few free parking spaces along the side of the building, looked like there was a parking garage across the street too. Flights of 4 available. Beers were decent. Okay stop if passing by. |
70 Right in the middle of downtown, in an old industrial space that is nicely converted. Street parking was no problem, but watch the signs to make sure you’re parked legally. Inside is a bit dark but cozy, and there’s a patio as well. Friendly service. Flights offered, of course. Seemed to be popular with the after work crowd. Beers were OK. A decent addition to downtown. |
58 A bar and tables inside a brick small-warehouseish place. Nicely converted. The brewery is right behind the bar, which lends the place a nice vibe and a nice smell. Staff was friendly. Three beers on tap during my visit and all were a little flat, but not bad or noticeably off. The place was fairly full but parking was still pretty easy. Large deck outside. Solid prices. |
