Headed over here after Stone. Taproom in their production facility, pretty spacious. Food available, nice pizza oven. Didn't go too deep on the tap list. Tried their "bitter" ( see review). Lots more customers than Stone. Would like to explore their tap list a little more. Nice atmosphere

Visit Date: 6/14/21 (Currently opening at 12 on weekdays, not sure if that's permanent or a covid thing though.) Big spot right down the street from the Stone Richmond location, and in an area I literally never went to back when I was living in Richmond (but appears to have plenty going on these days). Big patio with ceiling fans and shade were the perfect place to sit on a warm Monday afternoon. Didn't spend much time inside, but it looked nice in there. There were a bunch of other areas outside as well with picnic tables, regular tables, and some Adirondack chairs throughout the property. No flights, but you could get many of the beers in half pours. Mostly hops with a few lagers on draft. Nothing dark at all on our visit. Every beer I tried from a cask bitter to NEIPAs were excellent. Only food I had was a pretzel, but it was tasty. Pizzas and other stuff looked good. Really liked this spot.

Big open place by the river. Nice open vibe in the summer. Friendly service, even though it was busy as hell. Beers are great as to be expected. In D.C. we only ever seem to see their IPAs, but there are a bunch of different brews on tap here. They do small pours but only two at a time. Prices are pretty good.

Visited on New Year's Eve afternoon, there was a fair-sized crowd. The walk-up order bar went pretty quickly with three friendly and beer-savvy tenders to take care of us. My group had several different beers, all of which were above average to very good. We had an appetizer that required a to-go box, an ample serving. Just down the street from the giant Stone place, I actually preferred this ... a little bit of a Richmond hippie vibe, but definitely feels more local and authentic. Brewery #860.

Visited with DCLawyer on an RVA crawl. Spacious taproom, decent amount of parking outside. Friendly service. Good selection of beers with almost a dozen on draft. Maybe a bit hop heavy on styles. Some cans available to go. A few brick oven pizzas available for food, pretty tasty. Worth a stop if you’re up for the trek.

First stop after landing in Richmond. This is the newer location for Triple crossing, certainly off the beaten path. Easy lot parking. Place is quite large and open, with a large outdoor patio that would have been nice in better weather. Kind of warehousy in side, large open space with long communal tables. Their taplist seemed a bit IPA-heavy, not sure if that is the norm or just an anomaly. Friendly service, perhaps a bit distracted. Place was not busy at 5PM on a Monday, but there were people there. They had some food, but I did not check that out. I ordered my flight of four and took it to one of the tables to rate. I was approached at least twice during that time by staff asking if I wanted anything else. I ended up trying a bitter (average) and three hoppy beers. Two of the latter were exceptional in my mind - Falcon Smash and Surprise Valley were very well crafted, world class quality. Really impressed. I plan to return.
